Sandy’s note: This short message reminds me of a time when I was out with a dear friend, and we met someone who was begging. My friend handed him a 20-dollar bill, and he said, "Thank You!" And then he looked at the bill, perhaps expecting it to be just one dollar. When he saw it was $20, he almost yelled, "Thank you! Thank you!" She had made his day, and he made us both feel so very good. It happened long ago, but it remains a most treasured memory.
