Question: The question was: Do you have any direct message or comment from Michael Himself as to what He has in store for us as readers of the Urantia book? If there is specific roles that He wants us to do?

Ham: Certainly. I, Ham, have explained the event you have described and found a spiritual vantage point. I understand it fully. To explain this in entirety to your human understanding is impossible. It is only by faith and spiritual awareness that these seemingly inexplicable occurrences are understood, not by mental thought logic pattern. Morontia mota is similar and understanding of the spiritual is not capable in intellect awareness. It is a blending of deep spiritual being awareness together with thought which is Mota. Question: I think that the teachings that you have said are quite beautiful, but I must admit that I have learned a few things from a member of the Woods Cross group that cause me to have grave and serious doubts in your Mission and I will say the three things that I have learned, since you have made bold to come before us all. I will make bold to speak my mind so if there is truth to this, we can bring it out.

I would ask the question from Physics for the disbelievers in this auditorium. The Urantia book mentions that antigravity is a physical phenomenon proportional to the (?) variables that our physics already knows. There are 48 references to antigravity in the Urantia book and in eight of them are specifically mentioned these two other variables that antigravity is proportional of, directionally proportional of. Meaning that the higher the other two variables the bigger the effect of antigravity.

There exists a record entitled 1991-02-01-Ham to General Council that occurred in LA where Ham made an announcement of the Teaching Mission to the Urantia Brotherhood (Urantia Book Fellowship) that was poorly received. It was supported by the Woods Cross TeaM. However, in a record 1992-02-00-Will there is a discussion of an event sponsored by the Woods Cross group involving a presentation to the Brotherhood in LA that was poorly received. My question is, was this event in 1991 or 1992? Unless there were two events, one of these records is associated with the wrong year.--rdavis 01:19, 6 October 2011 (UTC)

It was in 1992.
In 1991, Ham had only begun transmitting to the Woods Cross group. He transmitted through Rebecca for a full year before he asked to speak to the General Council; that occured February 1, 1992. I was there. :-) - Gerdean on tml at 8:12pm same day as above

That' what it looked like, but given your confirmation, and short of any other denial, I am going to move 1991-02-01-Ham to General Council to 1992-02-01-Ham to the General Council while noting this exchange in the discussion page of the record. Thanks for clarifying Gerdean! So it was a meeting of the General Council only in which context the Woods Cross group was willing offer the announcement.
In that light, I am surprised the GC even conceded the opportunity for an announcement, but then that was a different moment - as are each!--rdavis 18:35, 8 October 2011 (UTC)

It's not that the Woods Cross group was willing to offer the announcement. Ham had asked to speak to the Urantians. They did NOT concede an opportunity for an announcement. They refused! The Woods Cross group arranged a separate venue ... a room available in an adjacent building, within easy walking distance from where the ... what was it? Triennial Assembly? ... was held. They didn't want any part of it. Resisted it vehemently. However, rumors of this strange teacher was taking the UB movement by storm, like a groundswell that would not be ignored, and so when Thern Blackstone introduced Rebecca as the T/R who would bring through this wonderful new Teacher, the first thing to occur was Nothing! There was a long, long wait. Some of it was to allow Rebecca to calm down; (it was a huge event and how could she not have butterflies?). But part of it too was, according to Ham, (depending on how you choose to interpret his words) ... "All of us are awaiting the greater reception of our words and we are desirous of placing many teachers among you." It seemed to some of us that he was saying "we are awaiting the greater reception of our words" by the UBers ... who were slowly, very slowly, trickling into the hall, clucking and shaking their heads and wringing their hands. Many who attended the general conference did not come to hear Ham. And yet, after Ham spoke, the UBers had a reception for everyone who attended and it seemed (to me at least) that Everyone was talking about Ham, and not about the conference at all. --rdavis 18:35, 8 October 2011 (UTC)
