I trust your listening skills were sufficiently stimulated enroute to Nashville. Have you made it back home yet? In any event, I really enjoyed seeing you as ever, and it was such a joy to witness the fellowship your classmates share! One of the more salient memories of that weekend was your description of the Greek word used for the English word mansion. As it is one whose meaning is countervailing amidst a material culture, I would like to incorporate it into the page (see link above). Any references you can supply will be appreciated.

The word for "mansion" is "μονή, monay." It means a dwelling, an abode. According to the Barnes commentary it references temporary dwellings that soldiers on the March might occupy But the sermon I heard in ithaca said it referendum the waystations we might encounter on a hiking trail In either case it is a place of rest if transience
