I remember the conference so well in some ways and not so well in others.
I believe Rebecca Bynum took the lead in organizing the conference which was held at the Convention center in downtown Nashville. My memory is that we had a good turnout - probably over a 100 attendees.
But my memories, unfortunately (for your purposes), are more personal in nature. I remember that Joe, Marc's Brother played a wonderful set of music. This is the band that Joe and Marc had with their buddy, Hags, on bass. They were fabulous and perfect for the conference. Opening for JMB were the Pierces, two sisters who also performed. I remember that Roland watched from the front row with his friend Fred Harris.
I think I was in charge of entertainment for the event. I sang a couple of songs as did Hal Bynum.
We met Jim Evans, who had come over from Memphis to attend, and Jim became a regular attendee at our weekly sessions at Hal Bynum's, driving from Memphis each week, but we are no longer in communication with Jim. I'm not even sure he's still alive.
I do not remember much about the transmitting. I seem to remember asking a Melchizedek a rather awkward question about dying frogs (as a sign of environmental damage). Now I wish I had asked a better question. You don't get many chances to converse with a Melchizedek.
I suggest that you contact Rebecca or, maybe, even better, David Schlundt <David G Schlundt <d.schlundt@Vanderbilt.Edu>. David was our scribe and he was the most organized of the bunch so I think he would be a good bet.
We have also lost contact with David and I don't know his present orientation regarding the TeaM work. But, if anyone can help you find lost transmissions, it's probably Dave.
I realize, now, that conference was probably the high water mark of Nashville's involvement with the teaching mission. We had folks from all over the country attend. But, since we were tasked with hosting the conference, I really don't remember much about the reasons we held it. Maybe (probably) we were hoping for a major event, perhaps a materialization. Mostly, we wanted to connect with others who were sharing our experience of contact with an invisible teacher. In that regard, it was a big success.
Carol Caldwell might have other info, too. She would certainly have some memories to share.
