Is this you with Jeremiah and Rolland?

Yes, one of the first of many memorable retreats of our past. I never did get an alternate handle, and I had questioned the need for one then; when I mentioned our future handle at fusion :)) any comments?

The first in Calif. Fred Harris came from Fla. and I had to lend him my treasured 'Brooklyn' jacket; the coast fog was new to him :)). I think it was either '93 or '94. I'm in black between Allen and Tim :))

Thank you for clarifying! Would it be this one in 1994 perhaps in Morro Bay at Camp Charro? If so, I would love to create a page describing even if briefly and incorporate any photos. Let me know what you think.

I'm sure each one of us there could write a book on that event. Each group came with all their acquired transcripts, packed in folders for other to take home. Our Half Moon Bay contingent were Fred Beckner, Tim Christianson, Russ Gustofson, Susan Kimsey and I. I can remember at one instance Susan had decided not to share/distribute our collection. It took the rest of us to explain to her that they weren't her's, but ours.

Then Jerry in his wheelchair gave us a course in Reflectivity, and Joan from L.A. talked about Armagedden. It was very fruitfut to see and hear 6-8 TR's all interacting at the front of the stage. The entertainment was better than I could have imagined, and working in the kitchen was a pleasure to serve.

I stop here, not knowing where this may go. I just remembered why I'm a lurker, back in the early days with Dan Massey, and Bud Kagen and those pissing contests. Pic's were taken just before Susan graduated. Anyone have an answer to my quest for an early handle?

Confirming Memory

Hello Sal!

Thanks for sharing again. Would you clarify the location of this photo as you had identified it earlier this year (April 24) as the gathering of Spirit Fest 1994. Can you confirm?

Thanks,

Rob

Rob ask Sal to think hard, I was in Kauai in April'94. I am thinking this was '96, does anyone else remember? That was the first year I t/r'ed in public at spiritfest. Jeremiah passed the following year. thanks henry

Thanks Henry! Let's wait for Sal's reply and then proceed. If needed, I will enter the ensuing correspondence into the discussion page as it unfolds as a discovery process.

That photo was taken off Hway 1, just a few miles before Morro Bay, I believe the address was in Los Osos. Jesse Thompson and his wife (forgot her name) from Arroyo Grande put that event all together. There were two Spiritfest there, I believe 2 years apart. I remember Bryon brought Alliana (girl from Brooklyn:)) to the second for her first experience. I thought it was 1993, but I had men's retreat that year (photo attached) Can you make out the attendees? I'm sitting between Chic Montgomry and JuanJuan on the right :)) Steven Zent took the picture. I'm sure there are a few on this list that were at the First Spiritfest to comfirm that date, but I'll wait for someone else to confirm that date.
