Opening

George: OK, I am going to start off by recounting a dream I had this morning. This was in preparation for tonight’s lesson, I assume. The dream had to do with part of it with me I was running through this field of corn stalks to meet these men who were advancing towards me. I had a machete in one hand and a stick in the other. When I got to the men I realized that they were my Uncles. I was running backwards as they were running towards me. At the same time I tried to stop them with the stick and the machete. I was swinging at them, I was trying to kill them, I guess. I didn’t know why at the time.

Then my dream jumped to a vision of me searching the newspaper, and I saw a vision of a boy blindfolded with a machete in his hand. He was in a play with other children on the stage, the child with the machete was swinging it around and he didn’t see the three children in front of him. The picture that was in the paper was of the little boy with the machete in his hand, swinging it and cutting the faces of the three children. This was a very disturbing dream, a very disturbing image for me.

I searched for the caption of the image to see what was said about it. Why was this image here? And what was it representing? The caption read: "The crowd said, ‘No pas,’ but he did." That was all that the caption said. It was hard for me to understand what it meant? But I searched and I realized that not only was the little boy’s name "Pas" which means peace in Spanish, but they were also saying, ‘No pas’, meaning no peace. I also got from the dream, we are all like children blindfolded with machetes in our hands wheeling them around in this stage of life and sometimes we don’t see who we hurt. Anyway that was my dream. Let us now go into the silence so we can communicate with JarEl.

  • Group Stillness and meditation.

JarEl: TR, George. Good evening, it is I, your teacher JarEl. It is good to see all of you once again, my friends, my family, and my students. This dream that George was talking about was a set-up for tonight’s lesson.

Lesson

It speaks of the effects we have on one another, the effects that you have on other people and how some more than others can end up hurting another so severely, that it does feel like a machete slicing through your very soul. The dream is merely representing the actions that you take sometimes, of the action and words and attitudes that you put forward. Be aware of who you hurt. Be aware of who is in front of you. Take your blindfolds off so that you may see, and grow. You are like children. You are very much like children, even those of you who have been on this planet for a very long time. You are still children in the eyes of God. My children, you are capable of committing mistakes, some not so severe. These mistakes are just that, mistakes and errors. The reason why is because the majority of you continue to walk around with your blindfolds. You continue to act in this tradition, in this ceremony that enables you to have a weapon in hand. Drop your weapons, stop the ceremonies and take off your blindfolds. Come to the realization of the brotherhood of man and the Fatherhood of God. This is what you need to do to stop hurting each other, to stop creating barriers between one another. You need to take off those blindfolds to realize who your brother is and not depend on others to tell you who your brother really is.

In your hearts you know we are all brothers and sisters. You are light givers, you in this room have taken your blindfolds off; have lifted up lamps, the candles, the torches. You give light to those that dwell in darkness. The point is that most people do not see the light because they wear these blindfolds, which stops them from seeing any light. They hesitate to remove these blindfolds because they are following traditions, being part of the ceremony. This is all focused, geared towards the religions of the world that keep many in bondage, that keep many blinded. It is OK to remove these blindfolds, it is OK to seek, and it is OK to ask when you do not know. It is OK to be confused. Out of this confusion there is a question and when the question is asked, the answer is given and then clarity is realized. Do not be afraid to confront these new truths, this new frontier of knowledge, of spirituality. Don’t hide behind the blindfolds and expect others to lead you. For they are blind themselves. Follow what is inside, follow your hearts, and follow the spark of God that exists inside of you. Become conscious of the truth that is revealed within you and accept this new profound feeling that you have, that has grown and will continue to grow for all eternity.

Life is not about rituals or traditions. Life is about seeing, life is about knowing, life is about realizing. Life is about loving and being loved. Only you can realize your own life; can give meaning to the moments that pass day by day. Gather these moments together and realize the intelligent design that exists within your life. This is God, this is you. There is a moment that you need to stop being children and start taking responsibility, by first knowing and seeing within your heart and then by growing with God. Many on this world are still children, many are blindfolded. Help them, guide them, make them realize that they can take their blindfolds off; that it is OK to see. It is OK to be confused at first; this is only a sign of a true quest for knowledge. First there is confusion, and then there are questions, then answers and then clarity. Many of you have experienced this already. Many of you here have asked the questions and have received answers. When you are at the moment of your greatest confusion don’t be afraid to ask, for it is only right for us to give you the answers that you deserve. Even though you are children in time, you hold in your hands the library card of the Universe. With this you can check out any book that you want, you can acquire the knowledge of the Universe if you so will. As you grow older, as you grow with the Universe you will more readily use this card to acquire advanced knowledge.

Right now you are unaware of your potential, of the mere fact that you are children. Do not take this whole lesson as something degrading. I am merely stating the facts of the Universe. You shall live for many thousands, and thousands, and thousands of years. The life that you have lived thus far………you can fill in the rest. You can imagine the great discrepancies in terms of your universe life-span; you are still embryos in your mothers’ womb yet to develop features, but your minds have a potential, your souls are growing. Yes many of you may grow extensively here on Urantia, that is your potential, but the facts are that you are still children. That is alright; because we all love you and so does the Father in heaven. No matter how many mistakes that you make, how many transgressions, you will always find forgiveness from God. I will now step aside so others may speak.

Donna: Thank you JarEl for your fine lesson and for the allegorical dream that the TR George had, so that you were able to present the lesson in a way that we could imagine in our minds as pictures and then you gave us a nice explanation of the dream. Yes I agree, sometimes I think the way that God sees us is as children. Yes indeed, we are so young and so immature. Those are just my thoughts.

Dialogue

JarEl: TR, George. Thank you Donna, are there any more comments or questions?

Stella: How many lifetimes is it going to take the people to grow up?

JarEl: TR, George. You need to have patience; you need to be aware that you are growing. There is never a point that you can say, "I am grown up", because you can always grow more. It is all relative; you may still be a child three hundred years from now.

Stella: Oh God, no, no, no!

JarEl: TR, George. Relative to me.

Stella: What did you say?

JarEl: TR, Relative to me.

Stella: Oh, relative to you.

JarEl: TR, George. Yes.

Stella: How old are you?

JarEl: TR, George. Really old! But really young, too. Like I said it is all relative.

Lucille: JarEl, on the first part you were speaking about using words that would hurt other people’s feelings. You seem to be speaking to me today. I have a daughter who is going through some very trying times. I try to tell her that God loves her and that I love her, but she misinterprets what I say often. Is there a way to communicate with somebody who is under the influence of medication or alcohol? I don’t want to hurt her feelings.

JarEl: TR, George. Yes Lucille, but first let me direct your attention to the first part of the TR’s dream, which had to do with him and his Uncles. There was no interpretation to this part of the dream. What the dream signified was that the generation prior was in a hurried and frantic state, but they had a purpose. They had a direction, they had a mission to accomplish. However, George did not understand what they were doing. He did not understand why they were advancing towards him? They were not advancing towards him; they needed to go past him to accomplish something that was not communicated to him. He in turn saw that as an aggression and feared for his life and defended himself for what he thought was right. Sometimes we need to stop and explain to our loved ones, what we are doing and why we are doing it. Because there is always a chance that they may not understand your actions or your motives. At a certain age you start thinking differently. At their age they might still be thinking about high school or boys or girls or going to the movies or their car. They are preoccupied with a million other things that have nothing to do with things that you are preoccupied with. There needs to be a common ground, a common understanding, a common level. I know it may be difficult and this may require much repeating. You must always try to make them understand where you are coming from and explain to them clearly and decisively. In turn they will appreciate this. Does this answer your question Lucille?

Closing

Lucille: Yes, thank you. JarEl: TR, George. You are welcome…….I would like to leave you with this thought tonight. Remember that you live among children and it may be difficult to remove the blindfold that you all wear, but if you stop and explain to them what you are doing and why you are doing it, they will gladly allow you to remove their blindfold. Thank you and good night.

All: Good night JarEl.
