Lesson

Wait before Me with an empty heart, empty of worries or concerns. Just you and Me and allow My mantle of peace fall softly around you and pervade you during your meditation. It is time well spent with Me in the Stillness of your heart. The Stillness is so designed that you will reap greater benefits than you can at present only imagine. Your greatest test at present is that of waiting, not knowing what to expect and yet trust Me enough to know that I Am also waiting for you and Am expecting you. As yet you can have no knowledge what this all means, this seeking and waiting for Me.

For mortals it is a lesson in dedicated perseverance which helps build a dependable character. It shows the eternal God that the blueprint He designed for each human being is working. He gave each one the choice to turn their potentials into actuals. He also gave each mortal the gift of free will, so each can act according to their own choice and decision making how fast they will advance on this road of continual discovery. Some seem apparently ‘stuck’ at a lower level depending on their genetic inheritance or something may have happened in very early childhood, which blocked their advancement. While others seemingly forge ahead, undeterred by anything that has happened in the past.

It is all in the recognizing and the overcoming. Sometimes an ‘early wake-up call’ motivates a mortal to forge ahead with determination and willpower to gain mastery over self. This of course is a most ideal way, as such a one is more inclined to ‘listen’ to their Inner Pilot; that Still Small Voice, which gives them pause to think of which direction to take in life. In other words, to set goals for themselves. Others take a longer path to reach their ultimate destination, and that is fine, too. Eternity is a long time in which to reach perfection towards the ultimate goal of the attainment of God, to stand in His Presence as He is the Source and Destiny of every being, human and divine.

So yes, wait before Me so you can attain clarity and surety as to which path to take. I shall make your waiting worthwhile. It is the best time you will spent to reap innumerable benefits. As you go forth from your periods of Stillness, you can the better serve your brothers and sisters with love in your heart, being mindfully aware that they too have a Fragment of God within them to help guide them on their path, which may not be the same as yours, as each has their own divine blueprint to develop.

Lesson

This is a lesson on waiting. Slowly on it is dawning upon you that you can listen anywhere to My Voice, never mind how noisy the outer world is with its cacophony of sounds. This is the result of the tenaciousness you have acquired over the years in the daily seeking of the Stillness. It is not something which one acquires overnight, although some have more a natural propensity therefore. It was by no means an easy road to become focused enough to the point of Stillness where you could actually ‘hear’ My Voice and yet there was something in you which made you come back into the Silence, not knowing what to expect.

This has been an excellent training in self-discipline and willpower to succeed, as you had an unfocussed, mercurial mind, and still do to a certain extent. You often wondered why you were writing the way you did, in your journals, never knowing what to expect. Well now then, here is My answer: It was first of all your desire, then your dedication and persistence to get to know Me and to hear My Voice.

Secondly, I have been leading you all these years for you to gain enough confidence to put pen to paper. It was, and is, My purpose to for you to be willing to explain and write down My words for the edification and enlightenment of others, who through reading these words, would so gather hope, faith and trust for themselves to carry on yet another day. To ‘pull on the heartstrings’ of many, who would thereby awaken further and be so encouraged to listen for themselves to My words as a Fragment of the Living Eternal God also resides in them.

At the soul-level all mortals are kin, as all are children of the One Universal God. It is in the waiting in the Presence of God in the stillness of the heart, where untold beneficial rewards are waiting. It is being in a holy place, where the Eternal dwells, who envelops you in a healing ‘mantle’ of unconditional love and forgiveness. Where all fear vanishes, and a sagging human spirit is revived and reborn. A lasting calmness shall begin to take hold in the nervous system, which has a beneficial effect on all the organs of the body.

It is first the soul-rest, which is initiated by waiting before Me and the imbibing of My Essence in the Silence, then the whole physical system reciprocates as the nervous system settles down. Many more benefits will accrue to those, who wait before Me. This is free-willness at its best, this training and dedication to, every day, set some time apart to wait before Me. It is the best time ever spent in waiting.

Session 3

Lesson

Today’s lesson, too, is on waiting. So wait before Me and listen to the words I may speak. It is the Stillness which is pregnant with the unspoken words which can only be heard when the inner ear turned into My direction and everything else fades away. It is the paying close attention that picks up the subtle nuances, which are easily detected by a careful and dedicated listener. Such a listener I would have you become towards your brothers and sisters, so you may pick up the nuances of the words they do not speak. You understand, of course, that I am not speaking of the everyday ‘surface talk,’ but the words which are not being said and yet can be felt. I desire for you to develop that ability, that skill, which can hear the cry of the human heart.

There is so much sorrow and grief in the world today, and too few who are willing to listen and become a comforting presence to others without having to speak a word, because there is no need as there is understanding. Such ones are needed in the world today. It matters not if one has a formal education or not. Some are born listeners, but it is also a skill which can be learned with practice, and which includes the necessary waiting to hear out the other before speaking. This waiting is the listening, it is not the formulation of an answer while the other is still speaking. You well understand what I Am saying here, because you have a tendency to ‘jump into’ a conversation because of a thought you had, which triggers the answer to the issue being discussed. Waiting includes holding your thoughts at bay, without any intrusion of your mind.

This is another valuable area of self-discipline towards self-mastery. There are many area’s to practice this skill. It is living life at a deeper level of self-discovery, which is the recognition of areas which can stand improvement. Waiting is a skill, which can be exercised in all area’s of life. It is a needful exercise to learn that all good things come to those who have learned to wait, and can labor and work towards the manifestation of a worthy goal, or a treasured item they desire to have. Waiting teaches value to the thing finally gotten. Learning to wait is a necessary part of life. Life does not exist for instant self-gratification. Even in evolution, creation happens when the time is right as one experiences in the rites of nature in the seasons. It is the endless variety in waiting which brings value to the spice of life.

Lesson

Let today’s lesson be on waiting, also. You know the saying, ‘haste makes waste.’ And so many human plans come to naught, because they do their own will, as the desire for instant gratification is yet too strong. This is an instinctive and animalistic tendency, which needs to be curbed when a child is still very young. It is up to the child’s caregivers to see to it that not every wish is to be granted. Waiting is an art, and the sooner this is taught and understood, whilst reason needs to be given that it is not the right time. Children are very open and reasonable when truth is spoken and explained to them. For adults, it is extremely important to be an example and inspiration to the young ones, so they must see to it, that they themselves have mastered the virtue of waiting and do not indulge in self-gratification, be it in food, drink or in buying goods.

It is a sign of maturity and of self-discipline when one can wait and if the spiritual development has proceeded unabated along with the mental and emotional development, then that mortal is also learning to ‘wait upon the Lord’. In other words, he or she has learned to seek the Father’s Will. Many a human plan has gone, and will go awry, because of this instant gratification and through lack of waiting, so the celestial agencies could put the proper circumstances in place for the human to act upon to his or her greatest satisfaction and soul-contentment into a ripe old age, to look back upon a well-lived and well-spent life, during which the mental, emotional and spiritual systems were able to achieve a harmonious balance, which obviously will help as the foundation upon which to build eternal life.

Far too many people give too little thought as to what the purpose of life is. Too often the thought is entertained, ‘Let us eat, drink and be merry, for tomorrow we may die.’ And so they live on, not knowing that they have to confront and answer to themselves why they did not make better use of their time. The problem as seen from a celestial viewpoint is that far too many mortals still live in fear and are afraid to wake up and become adventurous enough to travel into the uncharted regions of inner space, and to be more in a present-centered awareness and learn to wait to hear their own Guiding Voice. This is waiting in the most profound sense and the recognition shall surely dawn that it is the greatest joy and privilege to wait upon the Lord of their being -- that Divine Spark of God.
