Opening

I am ABRAHAM. Greetings. I am enjoying your lightheartedness. I appreciate your individuality and also your willingness to become one with the spirit. It would seem that this group setting is such wonderful therapy. It is fertile ground for the planting of new ideas. Your discussions bring new thought and we are on the brink of seeing either weeds or the blossoming flowers. I believe the concept of group teaches us to be better Kingdom citizens. We are learning how to be calm and know that we are safely within the family of our First Source and Center.

Lesson

It is obvious in this day and age that individuality is quite celebrated. It seems that our youth screams for attention and this starts to lean over into the selfishness of ego and away from the closeness of family. Body adornment has become something to worship--when the concept of a budding soul is hidden. What our eyes can see has become seemingly more real than what the spirit can feel. We are all working toward self-mastery, for the most part that is letting go of the material and attempting to view life circumstances through the eyes of the spirit.

I am MARY, my greetings to you again, friends. I am in understanding of that longing for spirit security. You are beings who have to exercise faith. I know of that longing to be in ‘the knowing.’ Believe me; I was indeed quite shallow as a youngster. I was always in deep concern over my appearance. I wanted to belong. I wanted to be exceptional.

Working with the Master, He would have us meditate on simply being a body of light. Ten or twenty minutes we would meditate on our own beings as a simple portion of light and then the Master would tell us to see ourselves in the busyness of life, dealing with our brothers and sisters, also nothing but a being of light. Remove the shell of the spirit. Therein lies the beauty, the truth and the goodness. Jesus would then guide us into awareness as going about our daily lives as spirit.

This simple meditation daily helped me to become a better citizen, a much more sweeter, kinder person. I could view the lepers as beings of light and know they were well within the Kingdom. It felt wonderful to be a link. I could make conversation with the wealthy, as well as the destitute. I could see all as children striving to make our way into adulthood.

I am reminded of the resurrection of our Master and how the sisters and I had so badly wanted to go into the tomb and tend to His body. He was not in there. It was an empty vehicle. You each are wearing the flesh that is temporary. It is our ministry to promote truth, beauty and goodness. It is as simple as making everyone you meet feel welcome and a part of all there is.

I am pondering the future lessons here within this group. I believe we need to get to the simple basics of everyday living. There are so many issues to tend to in this day and age. It is definitely a different world now than when myself or Abraham had known. I am honored to be a part of this family. You are indeed quite beautiful individuals. I am growing to love each one of you more each time we meet. Your individuality strikes me in many different ways. Sometimes I laugh, sometimes I am concerned, but overall I am always learning.

Closing

This week try to make time to have a short meditation on allowing the shell to slip away to reveal that beautiful spirit light. Make effort to go about your daily business in that mode. Our lesson is kept short and we shall take our leave. Know that Abraham and myself are with ever growing love for you each. Until next time, shalom.
