Hello Dan-

It was great being with you and the others, and I hope Marc was able to capture the lesson. If so, I am sure he will be sending it along soon. In the interim, can you tell me anything about the Nashville TeaM Conference held here in 1998? The record shows only one lesson received, and I am thinking others probably exist, but even if not, any additional information you could share would enrich the record for posterity's sake. For instance, where it was held here, who came, what topics were discussed, etc.

Thanks,

Rob

Hey Rob,

I've copied Marc on this email so he will know you hope to get the recording from him.

I remember the conference so well in some ways and not so well in others.

I believe Rebecca Bynum took the lead in organizing the conference which was held at the Convention center in downtown Nashville. My memory is that we had a good turnout - probably over a 100 attendees.

But my memories, unfortunately (for your purposes), are more personal in nature. I remember that Joe, Marc's Brother played a wonderful set of music. This is the band that Joe and Marc had with their buddy, Hags, on bass. They were fabulous and perfect for the conference. Opening for JMB were the Pierces, two sisters who also performed. I remember that Roland watched from the front row with his friend Fred Harris.

I think I was in charge of entertainment for the event. I sang a couple of songs as did Hal Bynum.

We met Jim Evans, who had come over from Memphis to attend, and Jim became a regular attendee at our weekly sessions at Hal Bynum's, driving from Memphis each week, but we are no longer in communication with Jim. I'm not even sure he's still alive.

I do not remember much about the transmitting. I seem to remember asking a Melchizedek a rather awkward question about dying frogs (as a sign of environmental damage). Now I wish I had asked a better question. You don't get many chances to converse with a Melchizedek.

I suggest that you contact Rebecca or, maybe, even better, David Schlundt. David was our scribe and he was the most organized of the bunch so I think he would be a good bet.

We have also lost contact with David and I don't know his present orientation regarding the TeaM work. But, if anyone can help you find lost transmissions, it's probably Dave.

I realize, now, that conference was probably the high water mark of Nashville's involvement with the teaching mission. We had folks from all over the country attend. But, since we were tasked with hosting the conference, I really don't remember much about the reasons we held it. Maybe (probably) we were hoping for a major event, perhaps a materialization. Mostly, we wanted to connect with others who were sharing our experience of contact with an invisible teacher. In that regard, it was a big success.

Carol Caldwell might have other info, too. She would certainly have some memories to share.

Peace, DT

Thanks Dan! This is rich. If you don't mind, I will put this into the discussion page for Nashville TeaM Conference and add to it as others may offer more information. I will extract the basic data that would be suited for an article on the event. If you feel any of the personal information should be deleted from the discussion page, let me know. In the interim, I have contacted David as well as Jim Cleveland whose transmission is the only one in the record from the event. --rdavis 18:27, 6 January 2013 (UTC)

Hello David-

I trust the New Year finds you well!

Dan Tyler suggested that I inquire with you about the Nashville TeaM Conference held in Nashville in 1998? The record shows only one lesson received, and I am thinking others probably exist, but even if not, any additional information you could share would enrich the record for posterity's sake. For instance, where it was held here, who came, what topics were discussed, etc. Dan supplied information he remembered that is in the discussion page of the article, some of which is used to describe the event for posterity. Any additional information about the event, and better yet, lessons received during the event, will be much appreciated.

Gratefully,

Rob Davis

I do not recall that I captured any lessons at this event. I missed part of it and mostly remember interacting with TM people

Thank you for letting me know! It isn't surprising that getting to know other persons is most compelling.

Hello Carol-

I walked through McCabe Park today and stopped by your house en route. Recently, I had asked Dan if he could recall any other lessons given at the Nashville TeaM Conference in 1998. He suggested that you might have some more thoughts about the event that could fill out the entry. Let me know if you think of anything.

Gratefully,

Rob

Hello Rebecca-

I trust you are well!

As I slowly proceed through the process of editing the Teaching Mission Dialogues, often I encounter a place where there seems something is missing that might be retrieved. Recently, this was the case when I tagged this lesson as the only lesson on record as having been received at the Nashville TeaM Conference. As you can tell from its discussion page, I have inquired with others, but Carol suggested I ask you, and so, I am. If you can help retrieve any lessons that were received there, I will appreciate the opportunity to fill out the record.

Gratefully,

Rob Davis

Hi Rob,

You asked about the Nashville TM conference. Here is a packet of lessons, which includes my Nero transmission.

Rebecca and Hal Bynum and the Nashville group hosted the conference in downtown Nashville. They had hoped to develop a world peace concert in a venue by the river, but it didn't work out. Others took hold of the concert development. Hal noted that the money changers had taken over the project.

This packet includes a free-wheeling poetic presentation by Hal, a songwriter and performer.

Susan Kimsey was the conference's first presenter on the first evening and I followed her with Nero.

Our Stillness Foundation presented a stillness workshop. We had some great music from Nashville artists, including Dan Tyler.

Others may recall more from the conference.

Hello Jim-

Thank you for this recollection of the Nashville TeaM Conference and the additional lessons!! I have added your account of the event to the discussion page for future reference and amended the page itself based upon it. After I archive these additional lessons, I will reference them in your contribution to the discussion page.

Gratefully,

Rob
