Text refers to:

In books: a book, a textbook, Subtext, e-text or e-book.

In computing: character or string data as opposed to binary data, code segment, a memory portion of an object file that contains executable computer instructions, Plain text, Text-based (computing), an application whose primary input and output are based on text rather than graphics
