- Black Brook is translation of "Riberão Preto" - a dark-colored creek; Riberao Preto is the second largest city in the state of Sao Paulo, Brazil, that bears the name of the apostle and theologian, Saint Paul. It is said that Riberao Preto is in the neighborhood of Rio de Janeiro, but in fact it is hundreds of kilometers away from the coast.
