STREAMING MOTION OF [[Galaxy|GALAXIES]]
When the [[cosmic background radiation]] of the entire [[sky]] was surveyed in [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1977 1977], the
radiation was shifted toward the red end of the [[spectrum]] on one side of the sky, and toward
the blue end in the other. The entire [[Milky Way]] was "streaming" across the sky in a motion
not related to the expansion of the Universe at a rate of 700 Kilometers per second.
