Thought Adjuster: “One of the results of spiritual [[maturity]] — a fruit of spirit — is the progressive [[understanding]] of the true [[purpose]] of a [[human]] life — the reason why you came to [[this world]]. As you know, [[simplicity]] is the hallmark of [[truth]] and the purpose of life is in reality simple when you clear away all the [[superstitions]], false [[beliefs]] and human [[illusions]] that make it more complicated than it needs to be.
“You came to this world to [[discover]] God and to [[learn]] to be like Him, while you learn to [[participate]] in your Father’s will — the [[divine]] plan. That is all. This can be achieved by [[listening]] to your inner Teacher, the [[Ta|Presence of God within you]] that is always showing you where the best [[path]] is. As you learn to [[listen]] to this inner voice and as you learn to follow the impulses and the [[inspiration]] that this voice provides, your life will come closer to the [[ideal]] of [[perfection]] that [[your Father]] has intended for each and every one of you. And this is the key to [[happiness]] and [[satisfaction]].
“This is the most important endeavor in life — to establish a [[relationship]] with your Celestial Father — and those who [[dedicate]] their efforts and their resources to this task will obtain the greatest rewards and the deepest and lasting satisfaction of their [[existence]]. To those fortunate ones who learn to determine their own [[destiny]] through their [[courageous]] and spiritually-motivated [[decisions]], life will turn into a journey of increasing [[adventure]] and greater discoveries. They are the ones who discover that true happiness does not depend on any external circumstance. The [[storms]] of the world never affect the calm waters of these [[souls]] filled with [[peace]] and [[love]].
“Those who through their inner [[exploration]] have discovered the purpose of life discover also the true peace that goes beyond all understanding. [[Imagine]] living in a world where your importance is not determined by what you do, by your [[social status]], or your [[fame]] and fortune. This world doesn’t have to be a world in the distant [[future]] or something that needs to wait until you reach the [[Mansion worlds]]. This world can be created right now in your experience if you [[decide]] to leave behind all imaginary needs and the belief that [[tradition]] and [[culture]] as promoted by the myopic and irrational majorities are true reality.
“You have the [[capacity]] within to create the world you [[desire]] in your life’s experience. Two people can live on the same planet, even in the same city, and have experiences that are complete [[opposites]]. For one the experiences can be painful and uncomfortable and for the other the same experiences can be the [[steps]] for a [[progressive]] spiritual elevation and a more complete [[wisdom]]. The difference is not in the external circumstances. It is in the world each person builds in their [[mind]]. Yes, you are the creator of your own reality.
“Two different [[persons]] can enjoy the same [[salary]] level. One may consider that [[money]] is never enough while the other may think that she makes more money than she needs. The first person will always live in [[poverty]] while the second person will live in [[abundance]]. The first person may be wasting her money on useless [[pleasures]] trying to satisfy false needs; while the second person always satisfies only her true needs and always ends up with some extra money. What is the difference? Not the external conditions but the world each of these persons have created inside.

It would be like searching for fish in a desert.
