Thought Adjuster: “Let us talk about the very important and yet much-misunderstood [[phenomena]] of Spiritual Birth. Why is it often referred to as ‘Spiritual Rebirth’?
“Any [[human]] [[existence]] officially starts when a baby emerges into the world through the [[birth]] canal of its [[mother]] — a day that will be commemorated yearly as its birthday.
“Your [[spiritual]] birth is independent of your [[physical]] birth. This is the reason why [[Jesus]] explained: “Except a man be born of the spirit, he cannot enter into the [[kingdom of God]]. That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the spirit is spirit.” Indeed, therein lies the demarcation line between the [[animal]]istic side of a human being and its promotion to a spiritual being.
“Therefore, you are meant to undergo two birthing events: the first one is already behind you. What about the second one — the one of your spiritual birth?
“[[Ideally]], a human [[fetus]] spends nine formative months in the motherly [[womb]]. However, the length of the spiritual [[gestation]] varies [[individually]]. To facilitate this [[process]], at your first moral [[decision]], you have received a [[Ta|Divine Indweller]] — a Divine Fragment of [[the Father]] in Heaven. “If you would be led by this spirit from above, very soon would you begin to see with the eyes of the spirit, and then by the wholehearted [[choice]] of spirit [[guidance]] would you be born of the spirit since your only [[purpose]] in living would be to [[Doing the will of God|do the will of your Father]] who is in [[heaven]]. And so, finding yourself born of the spirit and happily in the [[kingdom of God]], you would begin to bear in your daily life the abundant [[fruits of the spirit]].” ([[142:6|Paper 142, Section 6]])
“The [[process]] of spiritual birth as [[explained]] by your Master [[Jesus]] clearly describes its three-[[step]] process. You were not asked at the time of your [[conception]] whether you wanted to partake in the human [[experience]]. However, as soon as you have reached some degree of independence in your physical and mental development, the time comes when you need to answer for yourself the weighty [[question]] of whether you want to be [[born]] of the Spirit? Indeed, the [[conscious]] [[exercise]] of your [[free will]] prerogative is what opens the door to your actual ‘human’ experience, thus differentiating you from the [[animals]] of the realm.

“Dear ones, take the [[time]] to [[integrate]] this fundamental disclosure. Within you is the [[power]] to [[change]] your life as, once you have actually been born of the Spirit, you will be under Its Guardianship and [[Tutor]]ship. Your life will take an [[eternal]] [[meaning]] and this close [[partnership]] with Spirit will impregnate [[your soul]], leading it to bring forth its very own fruits of the Spirit — your [[Godlikeness]]. How exciting is that?”
