Opening

I am ABRAHAM. Greetings. Here we are again, gathered in faith and hope that we will see the fruits of our group effort. This is a place where you ministers can find rejuvenation in spirit, mind and body. In the busyness of our daily lives we tend to forget Father is at hand. It certainly takes a toll on the mind to have this separation. You really have to pull yourself out of life into some stillness, some quiet, somewhere where the mind is sitting with a blank slate.

Lesson

I am MARY and so very honored to be a part of your learning. Abraham brought me to share my experience to show how Spirit works in life. We are not about eloquence of words, no. We are about using Spirit in this evolutionary life.

I do remember my days ministering to individuals in the crowded marketplace. I became well known and there always seemed to be needy individuals tugging at my sleeve. My mind was bent on solving problems, helping to get food and clothing, medicine and supplies. In the rush I had set aside the Master’s lesson. My focus became hazy and I was mechanical. How blessed were we in those days to sit at our Master’s feet and hear Him speak words of love and comfort--a pep rally, so to speak. He definitely reminded us of why we worked, why we strove to serve.

We could be in the midst of deep conversation with Jesus when a little one would tap Him on the shoulder and demand to play. That was a temptation the Master could not resist. He was definitely gifted at multi-tasking. He could give this child attention and at the same time show us how light-heartedness could clear the mind and how laughter could free the spirit. Said Jesus, “How blessed are those who have the faith of a little child, how wide are their eyes, how endless is their wonder.”

The Master’s rejuvenating conversations would encourage us to go forward in peace and love. It reminded us to serve with joy. I was able to take one person at a time, give them the comfort that was needed and really reap the joyful satisfaction that comes with being connected to the Spirit. I could look throughout the market square and see my sisters at work, smiling, bringing hope, bringing comfort, bringing joy.

You that have volunteered to minister to those who surround you are well trained and yet, you need a great deal of spiritual refreshment. I see many individuals who reach out for physical refreshment and the desire never seems to be fulfilled. It is truly spiritual refreshment that is needed--those that knock, the door is opened, those that seek, find. I understand that you are pulled in many different directions. To move mechanically is not what our ministry is about.

As the cosmic mind is growing we must continue to bring light. To be joyful in ministry is to bring light. It is expanding the cosmic mind. It is expanding mass-awareness. It seems that sometimes the world crumbles around you and you know not where to start. Remember, Father brings the ministry to you. He brings you your tasks. He gives perfect instructions to complete it. While there are so many events to be concerned over, let us not have our spirits dampened. Be aware of those spirit connections that create joy. Sit at the Master’s feet. Look into His face. Draw upon His energy. Know His comfort and determination is unending.

Closing

This week let us find joy in our ministry. Let us seek the true source of spirit energy. Rest the body, rest the mind. Make not worry a habit. When we think of abundance in this life, what does that entail? That is all. We are honored to walk among you, to be your sister and brother in Michael’s cause. Go in peace. Our love goes with you. Until next time, shalom.
