The duration of the twilight period between dawn and sunrise varies greatly depending on the [[observer]]'s [[latitude]], from a few minutes in [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tropics equatorial regions] to many hours in [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Polar_region polar regions].
