The '''Nordan Symposia''' is inspired by the capacity demonstrated by persons in every [[time]] and place when they host the unique [[wonder]] leading them to inquire more deeply into the [[nature]] of what it means to be [[human]]. While such questions, along with their ensuing [[dialogues]], may become enshrined in the celebrated literature of any civilization, hopefully acting then as inspiration to further inquiry, too often these can be found serving as '[[authoritative]]' answers more than eloquent queries, closing with assumptions of certainty the doors to what remains an uncertain yet intriguing process of discovery unfolding within us all .

Through the means of this [[Open Source]] platform, it is hoped that the common threads of inquiry woven into every field of human endeavor might become more vivid and seen as they are in truth, related in the most meaningful way to the primary question of "who am I" and "who are we" to take for ouselves the name - ''homo sapiens'' or ''wise man''?

It is from such [[dialogue]] that various bodies of written work emerge that may be found in either one or both the Primary and Secondary [[Corpora]].
