I looked it up in my hard copy of Pocatello lessons, in which Bill Kelly himself says:  "This is my personal teacher, Alcon."  Then Alcon says:  "I am Alcon.  Good morning." etc.  And it came out of the Pocatello group.  Bill himself probably typed it.

Information closest to the source carries the most weight. Your records suggest the spelling Alcon, but before every reference to Alkon is changed, I will want to confer with Bill's family. In any event, typos are inherent in any written communication, but for the record, I would like to insert the pertinent reference to the "Pocatello lessons" that "Bill himself probably typed" omitting reference to his biographic details.--rdavis 22:07, 17 April 2012 (UTC)

Spelling

Hello Gerdean-

I am beginning to encounter the lessons that are in your edited collection. However, a question arises in the enclosed lesson due to your use of two spellings of the teacher Alcon (Alkon). Would you double check on your end, and let me know what you think is correct.

Gratefully,

Rob

Oh, dear. I didn't realize there was a conflict. It's Bill Kelly's personal teacher. Let me see if I can nail it down. Thanks.

I have decided to use Alkon as it is what is used primarily. Only in the heading is the spelling Alcon used. If you find cause to reverse that decision, let me know.

The correct spelling is ALCON.

Thank you.
