Thought Adjuster: “How many people could improve the quality of their lives by just learning to be content with what they already possess? Living a plentiful life has nothing to do with the possession of material benefits already enjoyed. Ironically, those who possess more may well be the ones with a better perspective on this, because after investing much effort in their material pursuits they would have discovered that such has not enhanced their happiness.

“A true religious experience — an increasingly closer relationship with the Father — is required for a mortal to discover the true source of happiness and to experience the satisfaction that arises from discerning the purpose of life and finding out what is truly important. This is an experience that becomes possible after one starts to listen and follow the guidance of ones Thought Adjuster.

“Only on a confused world, such as Urantia, mortals are almost totally unaware of the importance of living a more spiritual life. To follow the path of love and perfection should not be done because it is ‘good’ or because it is a ‘commandment’ from the Father. This path is simply the best road a human soul can take for its own benefit and well-being.

Closing

Your Father has prepared everything for you, so you can become the best you can aspire to be and experience the highest levels of happiness and satisfaction in your life. Only a small but consistent amount of effort is required so you can overcome your animal tendencies and progressively obtain a new perspective with eternal value that is closer to reality. This is the true purpose of a human life — to be a preliminary course for adapting the human personality to the realities of universal citizenship.”
