Prayer: [Mary Rogers] Let's take a few deep [[breaths]] together and get into the space, reconnect with [[Ta|our Center]] as [[individuals]] and as a [[group]]. Pause for a moment and [[reflect]] on the nature of [[community]] and [[connectedness]]. Into this reflection of community and connectedness draw in also the [[reality]] of your own [[creativity]], the potential for magic. Father we ask that you continue opening our [[hearts]], our [[minds]], our spirit, the reality of your love and magic of your [[light]].
===Lesson===
Charles: I would [[accept]] your unspoken invitation to join you, I am Charles and I would try to offer a few [[words]] of [[comfort]] in these days which seem to carry with them so much weight and so much [[pressure]]. I would invite you to consider stepping back or more accurately perhaps, stepping up and considering rather than to [[visualize]] and work with your energy to see a particular way forward, a particular platform or [[candidate]] or vote as being all illustrative. What if you were to vote for simply one platform, the platform of [[spirit]] and of God above, the platform of [[Tbg|goodness, truth and beauty]] and vote for that. In this way your vote cast will certainly not be wasted and [[trust]] with this vote that those aspects that you are voting for will be brought forward in the [[process]] and that it does not rest upon the shoulder of a party or and individual or even a [[generation]]. This is a long ongoing process in which you are simply participating at this juncture in [[time and space]].
But it is easy to get mired if you will, in the muck of details and possibilities and [[predictions]] and forecasts and otherwise submitted versions of [[perceived]] potentials. They are merely that, they are merely the [[visions]] of those individuals offering them. You are welcome to have your own visions and entertain your own platform for consideration. And by aiming high, by shooting above the details of the fray for the [[ideals]] that you stand for, then you may begin to see that [[everything]] that happens is a step towards that end and you will begin to see those things that you vote for in your [[vision]] materialize.
Try not to [[feel]] overburdened in this season of burdens. Try not to be overwhelmed by all the sheer number of [[facts]] in consideration. Maintain that your vote will be for whatever will be the highest and best [[good]] for all of [[humanity]] and to the degree you make your [[decisions]] based upon those principles, you have acted in accordance with your [[faith]]. Then simply allow and trust that the [[process]] at hand will unfold in the direction of truth, beauty and goodness. Then [[relax]], you have played your part, you have cast your vote, you have prayed your part and in this way you have cast your vote. Then, let go of the cumbersome weightiness of all that is being thrust towards you and upon you. It only [[becomes]] a burden to you in so far as you accept it as such and carry it as such.
This too shall pass, there will be other [[turning point]]s as you see them, many many laid out before you and in each one there will be the same [[opportunity]] for you to vote your [[conscience]], vote your spiritual [[awareness]]. Even if you are unclear as to which of the potentials before you may bring about this desired condition and state, still you will vote for the state and the condition of [[Light and Life]], of [[love]], [[peace]] and [[grace]]. Whatever the vote is, that's what you will be voting for. Whether it is even in your daily life, what you will be doing with your time and your choices, these are all your votes, your selections, your choices.
So be of good cheer my dear ones, even though there is an extraordinary [[effort]] at this time to have you feel [[fearful]] and burdened, resist this [[temptation]] knowing that if you do not choose it, it is not manifesting for you. Always choose those things that you desire, resist making choices indicating those things you are fearful of. To the degree it is possible, do not allow fear to be a [[motivating]] force, rather the forces you would choose, the forces of love, mercy and peace and this is true no matter what season it is, no matter what day it is, no matter what hour it is.
I stand in [[gratitude]] for all of your choices that bring you to this place at this time and allow for my [[participation]]. Thank you for indulging me.
Jonathan: I would also indulge in a few [[words]] today, I am Jonathan and I am reminded by today's [[conversation]] about the imagery supplied by the Master, the imagery of the vine and how we are all attached to the vine and being supplied by the vine and nurtured by the vine and that the vine gets pruned with [[intention]] and [[trained]] to [[flow]] in a certain [[pattern]] that is preferred and then the vine takes the shape of the gardeners desires. Yet, it is more than [[happy]] to comply with the desires of the gardener because pruning and training are the way the vine is made strong. Those aspects of the vine which are undesired may wither and fall away while those aspects of the vine which are chosen and fostered [[grow]] strong.
This imagery is ever serviceable in this notion of what we are doing in this life. Even as [[individuals]] we are growing our vine, we are pruning and trimming with each [[season]] to define the [[direction]] the vine will grow and what will be nourished and what will be trimmed. In this way, each year the vine has more [[potential]] and grows stronger and better and so it is with great joy that I report to you that the vines we have planted on [[Urantia]] are the same vines I am still tending and that we look forward to growing into the [[future]]. It is this same beginning point which is nourished and fostered and enhanced and which continues on in this [[analogy]] of growing into ourselves.

I always enjoy being able to share imagery relating to working with gardening and the [[earth]] for I have an [[intense]] fondness for this part of my history. Thank you for letting me [[share]] this morning, I wish you all good day.
