Even so, on occasion we were afforded [[stewardship]] over one of the many animals of the realm which we had [[adopted]] as appropriate for our living conditions and, since they were so domesticated, your pets put me in mind of those days when I was able to enjoy the company of the [[creatures]] of the realm.
