Among some of the [[surrounding]] [[tribes]] he was often referred to as the sheik, or [[king]], of [[Salem]]. Salem was the site which after the disappearance of [[Melchizedek]] became the [[city]] of Jebus, subsequently being called [[Jerusalem]].
