Hi Rob …. all done and said …… I disagree.
 +
 +
Be Still and Know that I am God …. is indeed a means to an end. Yes, Jesus walked about as a human balanced of mind-body-spirit but not in a state of Stillness.
 +
 +
Stillness is not a state of being when one is busy living in the world with all of its decisions. One goes into Stillness to put all of that aside and devote full attention to our Precious Father. From there, great blessings flow.
 +
 +
As a means to an end, stilling the mind, melding into worship and love might or might not be considered a 'commodity.' It is the Bread of Life.
 +
 +
While your idea of Stillness as a 'state of being' is interesting, I still see it as a linear issue.

We certainly should learn to constantly live in daily harmony with our Indwelling Spirit of the Father, but I still see values in going to the Father with grand intentions and purpose. It is our show of faith and worship and love and willingness to be of service. Sure, you can live with all that, but you can also reinforce it, and give it new energies and clarifies daily.

Hello Jim-

"Stillness" can be a means before the '[http://nordan.daynal.org/wiki/index.php?title=2004-02-26-Mind,_Stillness,_Destiny#Stillness.2C_Technique technique]' dissolves in the experience of (comm) union.
