Teacher Ophelius: “The message for today is about latent [[abilities]] and hidden [[talents]]. Every one of you has gifts and capabilities that lay just beneath the [[surface]] of [[your mind]]s, waiting for the [[chance]] to emerge and bring to the world a new [[idea]]; a new [[truth]] — to add [[beauty]] and [[goodness]] to a world that is crying out for new light. The people of [[Urantia]] are ripe to receive light in all [[forms]] and so is it that the [[Indwelling Spirit]] that lives in all people is always ready to express this [[creative]] light whenever the host is willing to unleash it. Now, more than at any other [[Part 3|time in history]], are these gifts being bestowed upon the peoples of Urantia to [[accelerate]] and appropriate the New Era — to put in place the lamp posts that shall raise up these hidden gems to shine through the [[darkness]] of a world emerging from [[confusion]] and inequality.
“The new generations are not so [[eager]] to follow in the [[footsteps]] of their forefathers and are more [[receptive]] to the leadings of their [[Thought Adjusters]], and so too shall they approach [[problems]] with new eyes and new creative [[thought]]. [[Cooperation]] with the Indwelling Spirit means more coordination of plans and ideas — more of Father’s Will can be accomplished because all Father’s children are [[connected]] and they [[communicate]] at the highest level through the agency of the Thought Adjuster. When you [[understand]] this connection you have to all other beings, both celestial and human, you can accomplish much. Be willing to [[experiment]] and try new things, my friends, and you shall see how the Spirit works through you!
“The greatest hindrance to you is your believing in the [[illusion]] that you have no talents or abilities — something the world at large broadcasts to [[the masses]] daily to maintain the divisions of those that have and those that have not. True [[wealth]] comes not from the weight of one’s wallet, but by the [[ability]] to [[express]] the [[heart]]. The old idea that success is measured in dollars and cents is about to be swept from the [[collective mind]] of the new generations. Creative [[genius]] is the new gold standard and shall be something that is valued above all else. To solve the many [[complex]] [[problems]] on Urantia requires new thoughts and ideas, and so it is that [[the Father]] shall make a way through his children by the [[expression]] of these new [[paradigms]] needed to bring about this [[change]].
“Christ [[Michael]], when he walked this earth as [[Jesus]], said in reference to the [[miracles]] associated with his ministry: “You shall do even greater things than I.” These are not just encouraging [[words]], but a true [[vision]] of things to come as the Creator-Father works through [[His children]] to bring about [[miracles]], which are only the hidden talents and abilities that are yet to be [[discovered]] by your scientists. The new generations shall [[demonstrate]] these ‘new laws’ that shall no longer be ignored, but shall be [[investigated]] by the scientists of the new generations.
