This style is highly remniscent of the ones that fellow used to post on TML, can't recall his name. He was deeply committed to that fellow who ... Why is my mind failing me? Must be senility setting in. He transmitted Judas. The ... papers. What were they? PADGET! The Padget Papers, from about 100 years ago ... in the early part of last century. Rich, they were, in detail of the times of Christ. Maybe gotten from the book of Josephus. Dunno. Very interesting writing, though.

A correction from the transmitter to the transcript from Stefan reads like this:

Correction to STEFAN transcript of September 08, 2012: P.S. I have a small correction to make, Stephan retired as a TESSERARIUS, not as a centurion. He wanted nothing to do with promotions, especially to OPTIO, SIGNIFER or CENTURIO, as they had a lot to do with the part of the military service that saddened him. As a TESSERARIUS (the keeper of the "watchword" for the century), he figured that he would be causing as little harm to the locals as possible.

And an additional comment on another subject which you spoke to below, Gerdean. The Padget Papers and the transmission of Judas which for about a year Tmarchives carried as part of the archives. For your information (and it does no harm to repeat the story just for your information), Machiventa Melchizedek came to me while I was preparing to adjust the archives in what was then a new format for them. He asked that all Judas transmissions be removed immediately as he considered the name an affront to the teaching mission and its originator, Christ Michael. I understood immediately and removed all traces of them from the archives. My interest in the Judas transmissions was historical as they shed light on the first century AD Palestine and the immediate times of the living Jesus. No affront was intended, but I reasoned that Machiventa Melchizedek felt that others would not be so understanding and associate the name with the archive and what to most humans is an anathema to Christianity. I was happy to be rid of the transcripts.

As an aside to the incident I relate to you above (circa 2003), in 2007 or 8 I had occasion to speak directly with Judas through another transmitter. Judas was aware of my interest in the history of the times and so, I assume, felt free, to make a plea to me to open the door to more of his work if I only would understand he could not help himself and the betrayal he perpetrated upon the work of Jesus and Jesus himself. He beseeched my values to include him in the work yet to be done, and while I would have listened for the opportunity to receive more historical data, he became something close to hysterical. Not only was he demanding forgiveness, but he was insisting on tieing whatever he could give me to the work of Jesus as it now is resident in the work of the teaching mission, he was also insisting on guarantees that I conduct the research with him alone.

The transmission from Judas that day started having an effect on the transmitter, and I remained silent so as not to further excite Judas, and to allow the transmitter some latitude in determining if she wished to continue transmitting Judas under the circumstances. To my relief, the transmitter pulled away and dropped the connection, and we both gave a sigh of relief that we had weathered what I thought was a storm of intolerance, but in fact, as I later learned, it was the last speech Judas ever made to someone on Urantia. I believe that when this world finally is set right, and we understand more than we do now especially with regard to the Judas undertow his presence represents in the universe of Nebadon, that contacts as imprecise as this one was with him, should be of some help to our historians in piecing together the history of the unfortunate soul of Judas.

Insofar as I know to this date, Judas has not spoken further with anyone except Michael and some of the former Apostles, Matthew in particular. I have heard Michael speak to me concerning the plight of Judas, and know that Jesus/Michael has given his full consent for the story to be heard in whatever venue pleases the authorities on Urantia. Since we are discussing Machiventa Melchizedek and his distaste for Judas, enough so to ask me years ago to remove all traces of his work on line on tmarchives, it can be reported that Machiventa has relented only to the extent that the transcripts can be made available if anyone wishes to place them in their archives. Right now, today, I am not inclined to use any Judas material regardless of how helpful it is to relive the years Jesus actually walked our soil and the culture he dealt with so magnanimously so as not to harm or place in repute any of its practices regardless how vile some of the practices were to the Father.

Judas, as of today, still resides in the mansion worlds of Satania and is present at many of the conclaves which celebrate the life and time of Jesus on Mansonia #3. Judas still resides on Mansonia #2, having only recently been promoted from the spiritual worlds of depression correction.

I fail to see where the correction was necessary. It was plainly stated that Stefan etired as a Tessararius, not as a centurion in this sentence from the original transcript: "I retired from military service after 25 years, as the TESSERARIUS of my century, in the year 97 AD, under the reign of emperor Nerva."

But I am not the historian here. I am more like a reporter, or a "talking head" and/or occasional whistle-blower, tying in a fact with an impression or a memory and making a news item of it.

I remember when there was a minor fracus over the Judas papers being included in the Teaching Mission transcripts, concern over what impression they would make to others who wandered onto the site. I was more concerned, of course, by the fact that the Padgett Papers were not Teaching Mission transcripts as I understand Teaching Mission .... being somewhat of a purist.

For example, recently we have been getting transcripts from Coeur d'Alene that include alleged transmissions from Jonathan, the former Rick Giles of that area who translated to Mansonia not many years ago. That is, to me, the height of .... something awful, not sure what to call it ... emotionality, sentimentality, absurdity. It tells readers around the world that it is okay to talk to the dearly departed, which is a terrible misleading error, a huge step backward.

But hey, I hardly recognize the Teaching Mission anymore anyway and nobody cares what I think so what difference does it make. None whatsoever. We all have our own integrity. Even though I often think other's are nuts. God see us for who we truly are.
