Brother, I think that you may have an ideal in mind that everyone will someday turn inward all at the same time and suddenly we will have light and life on the planet.
It would be great if that could happen out of the blue, but God tells us to live our lives in order that we reveal the Father to others. To me, that means doing, not just waiting. It means serving in some capacity.
When I then think about working toward a sustainable, equitable society, I see that it is a good thing. It is something to do. It is helpful. It is a work that can be done out of love for all, and an opportunity to be a part of the coming of light and life.
There will always be people at different levels of spiritual attainment. Everyone is born, has to grow up, and have the choice of seeking within. To me, in the current state of society, I don't imagine a possibility that suddenly everyone would turn inward, find Father, and our society become changed overnight. But, I can see how a changing society, one that slowly begins to be improved by the application of the core values, can attract more and more people to those values, materializing values they can see, and cause more people to consider and evaluate those values and take them to heart... and cause them to turn inward to Father- out of gratitude, curiosity, new spark of understanding, or other.
Okay, just my thoughts on all this.

Again, I have to disagree, but do so with love... to me, the UB teaches much about how to live our lives, and that we should love one another and serve one another, so I don't see living as doing nothing to benefit others or to make the world, even my small part, a better place.
