The merits of Daniel Raphael's expression can be measured in the confusion of those who study it. More and more, it is clear why those who have championed his work in public are privately driven to distraction.

I am reminded of an expression attributed to Jeshua on the topic of Earth Changes

"Whenever you hear of a teacher teaching this, or a teacher teaching that, ask yourself: do they offer me simplicity or complexity? Do they offer an ordinary peace, or must I have several trappings around me? Do they give me complex meditations and prayers and things to do, or do they simply remind me of the Truth and ask me to rest in it? Will they tell me that I need to go on a thousand pilgrimages? Or do they remind me that when I make my cup of tea in the morning, Heaven is present if I will remember who is making the tea: Christ.
Be you therefore not distracted. For in the end of this Age there is coming forth a whole smorgasbord of those who profess to be teachers of enlightenment. Look carefully and see, do they demand of you that you follow them? Do they demand of you that you give up your own discernment? Or do they egg you on to look deeper within? .......
There is much being taught in your world that is not correct. Anything based on fear is incorrect. Anything based on the end of creation, even in positive terms, is incorrect."

It is quite evident that there is but one imperative, to love one another as Father does. Any society built upon this foundation will endure forever.--rdavis 01:28, 15 October 2014 (UTC)

Rob,

Not quite sure what you are trying to say here. Is it that there need be no effort at all to bring about the era of light and life? That the "loving one another as Father does" will find its way to being a priority in the minds and hearts of all of our leaders, corporations, associations, states, tribes, and families, replacing the existing paradigm of "winner take all", without any human effort to bring this about? Without starting from the bottom as serious discussion about values and how we can begin to try remaking our broken world? To me, it has to start somewhere with groups of people coming together who want to help move this planet forward into light and life.

Or, is it something more specifically about Daniel Raphael that you disagree with or are at odds with?

For me, his transcripts resonate....

Thanks, love, Mich

Hello Michelle-

I can see how Daniel's thought resonates with material minds and with a Magisterial Mission focused upon material infrastructure to better foster spiritual growth. However, at a minimum, persons relying exclusively upon the methods of indirection ought to be somewhat more proficient at using them. Otherwise, the discussion of enduring value(s) is an eternal dialogue that begins deeper than words.

Gratefully,

Rob

(Second reply)

One more thought: To me there has to be a reason for people to just stop and question why we are doing things the way we are doing them. We have all been taught that our current paradigm is the right way to do everything, since birth. We have become accepting of how everything is done because we are taught to be. If we want to change this world for the good, and bring it into light and life, this movement has to have a humble beginning. I believe what we are reading about in Daniel's transmissions are ideas for how to begin.

Thank you Michele! I would say simply what is forever true - that the world you see is what you gave it, a witness to your state of mind, an external picture of an inner condition. As you think, so you are. Therefore, seek not to change the world, but choose to change your mind.

Brother, I think that you may have an ideal in mind that everyone will someday turn inward all at the same time and suddenly we will have light and life on the planet.

It would be great if that could happen out of the blue, but God tells us to live our lives in order that we reveal the Father to others. To me, that means doing, not just waiting. It means serving in some capacity.

When I then think about working toward a sustainable, equitable society, I see that it is a good thing. It is something to do. It is helpful. It is a work that can be done out of love for all, and an opportunity to be a part of the coming of light and life.

There will always be people at different levels of spiritual attainment. Everyone is born, has to grow up, and have the choice of seeking within. To me, in the current state of society, I don't imagine a possibility that suddenly everyone would turn inward, find Father, and our society become changed overnight. But, I can see how a changing society, one that slowly begins to be improved by the application of the core values, can attract more and more people to those values, materializing values they can see, and cause more people to consider and evaluate those values and take them to heart... and cause them to turn inward to Father- out of gratitude, curiosity, new spark of understanding, or other. Okay, just my thoughts on all this.

Again, I have to disagree, but do so with love... to me, the UB teaches much about how to live our lives, and that we should love one another and serve one another, so I don't see living as doing nothing to benefit others or to make the world, even my small part, a better place.

"Doing" the will of God is everything to the children of God, and any who have read the Urantia Book know what this entails.

Thank you for these thoughts Rob and Michelle. Understanding our situation and facing the Magisterial Mission on this world is indeed a great adventure in our growth and understandings. I am sending this message which says it very well for me: By Your Choices, Decisions and Actions

Thank you Marty! Rather than facing the Magisterial Mission, it seems we are its face to the extent we are living our life faithfully. Of course, there are as many facets of this phase of planetary progression as there are divisions within our unique planetary administration. On a human level, these are easily perceived as separate and contradictory, but on a spiritual level these are seen as they are in truth, different functions performing various tasks in service to the largest purpose of doing Father's will.
