Opening

I am ABRAHAM. I also express my gratitude to you for your steadfastness. You each bring something to add to our collective mind. Your willingness to live faithfully sets an example for all those who seem lost. I missed you last week. Our Correcting Time expands and always is there need to train new teachers.

Lesson

It is apparent that living in today’s world is quite non-traditional. It is a blessing really, although it can be also a stumbling block. You can think back to when you were a small child; you were impressed by adults to have certain things in life. Children are susceptible to ideas and begin to dig a path that will take them toward the ideal. As you have matured, you see that nothing is as if you thought it would be. There is a freedom in the world now that never was before. There are elements of difficulty that produce movements in evolution.

We can look back and see the history of many churches that showed human frailties, weaknesses and the people began to see church leaders as regular people, not God’s chosen individuals or channels, what have you. It would seem each religion has been brought to its knees in humility. People have seen that places of worship should be based on a group conscience, not organized by one or two people. Many issues of mortal living are being opened up so that individuals may see for themselves what needs to be done.

Evolution is quite slow and it is difficult to be a small light in a great deal of darkness. The Correcting Time is to create many lights. The world needs a massive mindal cleansing. The participants of the Correcting Time have felt this cleansing. Even though the hype to the Correcting Time has diminished, there are still deep roots that have taken hold and will create change.

Many sit and say, “What is your will, Father?” Father always answers, but it is not always apparent to the individual. It is understandable many of us seek simplicity and ease. If we are to grow we must have that element of disturbance. We must have increasing levels of difficulty. Father’s will at times seems to be too easy and down to earth. A lot of mortals expect something grand, something they can share with everyone, instead of taking His will and incorporating it into life.

I am MARY, always a pleasure to learn among you. I am in appreciation of this lesson on freedom and non-traditional living. I had myself always felt distant from groups or traditional societal themes. Jesus had always taught us to reach higher with our minds, therein is the Kingdom and a sense of belonging.

I was always impressed by the life of Simon Zelotes, a real life zealot whose enthusiasm preceded his wisdom. His mind was so caught up in the drama of life. He deeply desired physical action. Change for him was difficult. He could hear the Master’s words of wisdom and yet, squirm inside to do his own bidding. He dearly loved the Master and wanted so much to do right by the Kingdom. I admired his desire to make personal change. He had often practiced meditation with non-productive results. It was beautiful to see how the Master adapted His words to help Simon to understand the personal change needed to calm his zealot attitude.

Action by physical force is not always necessary. Changes in the mind must come first and that works when we can pause and take a moment to practice self-mastery and think about what we are doing. Simon was successful in this endeavor because he had taken this energy and put it toward teaching children how to fish. The children loved him and he was always with abundant energy for them. In this outlet he was able to create balance in life and not act rash, but takes a moment to ponder the Master’s words.

Closing

This week we will take joy in our non-traditional living, our individuality in the Kingdom family. What are those outlets that help you to calm the mind? What service projects can you take up to enjoy fellowship and feel the spirit presence? There is freedom like there has not been before. This helps us to widen our ministry. That is all for this evening, my friends. You are indeed each a joy. Go in peace. Our love goes with you. Until next time, shalom.
