Opening

I am Daniel, my friends. We are here this evening to gather with you and respond to your intentions and desire for illumination, for at the essence of your questions and pondering, this is truly the desire, to understand at a deeper level some reality that can augment your perceptions in a way that influences your life for the better.

Lesson

I would use your discussion of movies this evening, to highlight a difference in perspectives between planets with large distorting influences and those without, for it is common on worlds such as yours to find inspiration in the contrasts between darkness and light. Having experienced dysfunction, judgment, injustice, heartbreaking and heart wrenching scenarios, it is no wonder that much of your entertainment focuses on these contrasts, whereas on planets progressing normally toward light and life there is an underlying recognition that evil, or sinister intentions, do not have to compete with goodness and truth. It would be baffling for those on more normally progressing worlds if they were to view entertainment on spheres such as yours where these dysfunctions occur regularly. On more normal worlds the focus is on building upon understanding with higher truth and contemplating perspectives that will gradually move you forward in awareness, and the entertainment reflects this, much as the entertainment on your world reflects various dysfunctional societal patterns. The transition away from the need to explore darkness, in order to find an inspiring resolution that leads toward good outcomes, occurs as one becomes enamored with the values of our Creator - the truth, beauty and goodness.

I would say, if you were to view life on a planet progressing positively toward light and life, you might consider this in league with your Hallmark movies, as you say. As the development of our efforts move forward, the perspectives slowly shift toward this resonance with higher minded endeavors which encompasses, not only your work, but your play, reversion and entertainment. The ages where your citizens will begin to focus more on the progression and less on the dysfunctional aspects are not as far away as you might think, for once standards are set at a certain bar and these become more prevalent in global awareness, the lure toward pursuing higher perspectives takes hold. Then the art and various forms of creativity and relations between individuals and communities begin to reflect this push forward and not so much of the looking over the shoulder to what has been the patterns of the past.

I trust that you, each of you, are growing in your alignment to those higher values and your efforts are increasingly reflecting this. If it is possible for you to transform, as you have, in a few short decades to the point of resonating with these higher values, then you can also trust in this ability for your brothers and sisters in your communities and in your associations. This lure toward higher reality begins to take hold.

Much of the feelings of chaos at the current time are the clash of patterns and just because it might feel uncomfortable, this does not mean progress is not occurring. Even within you, as individuals, you have periods of high inspiration and at times a lack of trust and questioning when you do not act or react the way you might think a high spiritual being would. Greater progress will occur when you realize that it is your flow toward goodness and your desire to be true and beautiful in your efforts that is more defining than the periods you slip or falter or question. We challenge you to simply set this aside and return to the flow rather than being torn up about the moments you cannot be at one with God. Instead return, my friends, to this desire when you see that you have stepped out of the flow. Return your focus and let go of that which does not serve you in favor of that which does.

I hope you have found some perspective in the dialogue this evening. I trust that it will be worth revisiting in the transcription. How are you doing, my friends? Are there any questions or thoughts this evening?

Dialogue

Q: Daniel, thank you. It’s so nice to hear from you. Are you doing well?

Daniel: Yes. I personally am finding great value and inspiration in the work here with Machiventa and the other teachers. The lives we lead still allow for us to ponder our own development and build camaraderie with friends, and although this work is valuable, we put it in perspective with the overall flow of our existence so that there is a balance between our desire to illuminate and provide perspective and to touch our brothers and sister here, and our desire to do those things aside from our relations to you that provide meaning for us. I have been particularly satisfied with the interactions among friends of late and enjoy the time in reversion outside of this work. We recognize that as we do this in our lives, it provides more perspective for when we are focused in our work to help bring those on your world forward from the throes of the rebellion and default to the higher perspectives of participation in universe functioning and healthy relationships... A long winded way of saying I am doing fine.

Q: So did I hear that truth, beauty and goodness does not have to compete with evil? Was that the bottom line?

Daniel: Evil does not have to exist to have increasing realization of truth, beauty and goodness. Only because you are on a world that has been saturated with it do you find it so ever prevalent in the various avenues of functioning you witness, both in your working lives and in your relationships and in your various forms of entertainment.

Q2: So I remembered what had given me such hope and that was when you had us look at how we can transform in a few short decades and to trust our fellow siblings can do the same and then my mind leaped to, yes and if we’re all transforming, then in a few decades we can transform society. I loved your comment about the chaos we feel being about the clash of patterns that is going on right now and I thought back to how the old patterns that are clashing with the new used to be taken for granted. So it was all of that that was just very hopeful on top of Machiventa’s statement from last time about how as these patterns change and as people hold on to what they have because they are afraid they’ll lose it, that those may be valid fears in a few generations. And so what I’m hearing is that we are looking at real progress in a few generations which in 20, 40 or 60 years, that’s really not that long.

Daniel: Thank you for your paraphrasing of your understanding related to my discourse. You are understanding well, my dear, and it is an inspiration to realize there is progress and to know that what you have experienced is experienceable by others, and as this occurs there is nowhere to go except higher in awareness.

Think about a term such as racism. 100 years ago the idea of being racist was seen by many as potentially being a virtue, and yet today, even those who hold deep-seated racist attitudes often mask and justify and deny that they hold these attitudes or are racist in their perspectives. This is progress, even if it might seem troubling to you, because what once was commonly held as an alternatively valid point of view is no longer seen as a virtue by most, to the point that those who have these perspectives often deny they have them because they know it is seen in the light as lacking of virtue. This is just one example of so many value systems that have shifted on your world. Yes, racism still exists, yes, strife, gender disparity, all of these things still occur, but the slowly shifting attitudes are such that they are becoming less and less desirable. This is real progress, and it is in the day to day efforts of friends like you who afford perspectives that are positive, that these ideas are changing. The challenge is simply to increase the population base of those who are expressing these ideas.

Q3: Daniel thank you. I had a thought here I thought I would mention. With the ACLU, an organization to support all people for justice, I was astounded this last week to realize who started that organization and it was Helen Keller, a blind person with her own handicaps and she did what she could. What an inspiration. The littlest thing we can do becomes a mountain of justice for many people.

Daniel: Indeed, thank you for sharing this. This is our task, your task, my friends, to do what you can to try and reflect the values you believe in and sometimes the smallest of things snowballs and becomes a beacon of light such as the example you provide. I have enjoyed our time together this evening, my friends. Any other thoughts?

Q: Just thank you. Q2: Yes, I was feeling a lot of appreciation.

Daniel: I think we have a mutual admiration society, and this is okay, my friends. Keep at it. Know that we are at work. I am here with Lynda, Aaron and Aurelia this evening, just to provide you perspective on those who contributed to the dialogue.

Q2: Thank you for that also.

Closing

Daniel: It is my pleasure, for although we don’t often speak of these things, the fine inner workings and details, it is still important occasionally to know there is a collaborative effort underway and we are not just isolated stabs in the dark reaching out to you with the hope you might find some light in the darkness - that is a deeply held Urantian belief. But as we have spoken of earlier, we are a fine tuned machine working to progressively implement the plans of Michael and are consistently attempting to bring you awareness of just how involved we are with you so that you can recognize that there is a place above the darkness where you can contemplate these higher realities without needing to slip the new wine into old wineskins, but rather replacing the old wineskins with the new.
