Opening

Dear Mother Spirit and Michael, Welcome!--dear spiritual parents. Here we are again as your faithful followers, students in your wonderful lifetime schooling. We appreciate all you have given us these many years, both your hundreds of blessings and then too the chances to talk with our spiritual parents so directly. Tonight I have no special requests except perhaps--Mother Spirit--during Michael’s last message he did make some comments on social and political events that might have been misinterpreted. I understood his main message was to be open-minded to the information coming through biased news media that might make you terrified by what was being given. Beyond that, neither He nor you--Mother Spirit--emphasize nor denigrate any particular viewpoint. You’ve always offered advice to take in all viewpoints since often each one represents almost half the adult population of our country. Would you care to say anything more on this? Amen.

Lesson

Mother Spirit: Good evening, my dear children, this is your Mother Spirit. I always delight in emphasizing that “your” part because--as all you loving parents know--as much as your children belong to you, you certainly belong to them. You are their connection to the greater world. Just so, Michael and I enjoy being your connection to the greater universe. We delight in reminding you that you have within you, as part of you, even someone whom Michael and I cannot be so fully. Here I’m talking about God our Father, the Creator of all and known throughout the universe as the First Source of all. Know within yourself that He is always with you and can even give you direct advice and information.

(A meditation called “stillness”)

It is for this reason we offer a kind of meditation called “stillness” because it is just that, being still and open-minded. All you need do is be quiet for a moment or two and think within yourself, “Dear Father, what have you got for me--this time? For all my lifetime of experience giving me the cause-and-effect of what continues and can be anticipated, still in each moment--by way of your divine creativity--there is something new that has never happened before. It’s ‘This moment—Now.’ And so--Dear Father--what have you got for me this new, never-before moment?” Then, my dears, wait and give yourself a chance to receive what he has for you.

Wonder: what does He have for you have that can help you keep growing and experiencing his ever-new moment? This is His greatest gift to you, and to all of us. It's reality being ever new, ever happening, that enables us to grow. My dears, this growing experience is your soul. Be ever attuned to what adds to your soul, because you are an experiential being. This is your life’s purpose. It also fulfills God’s purpose in being the author of your personality and part of your living soul. My dearest, this is how you stay attuned to this marvelous, ever-growing reality of His, how you play an active part in writing your own life. A great part of stillness meditation can be catching up with yourself. What have you been experiencing lately?

(The price demanded? You pay attention)

You recently had a wonderful celebration called Thanksgiving--one great way you give thanks, you pay attention. This is the price demanded you can always give: you pay attention. You offer this awareness to God. He’s not only--in the classical sense--all powerful, and all present, and all knowing, He surrounds you through and through. He’s personally within you as part of you, and has always been. With a little reflection you can realize that some of those most wonderful, all-encompassing ideas you’ve had, came from Him. What a delight it is to know that through His Personality Circuit--the way He is connecting all personal beings--you too can receive spiritual influence not only from Michael and me and Him, but also--by this wonderful process you call transmitting/receiving--many of you have acquired the ability to receive other spiritual beings.

(This deeply spiritual thing called FUN)

What fun! Perhaps that’s the one word, and thing, that’s too absent from all your spiritual teachings. What fun! We thank our Father for creating such a possibility in our lives. It’s something that simply exists for its own being and fulfills its own being--having fun! It needs nothing else, at least for its own wonderful moments. So, my dears, let this too be a joyous part of our connection. For this is what love is. It’s a connection. As Michael gave you in His last message, the connection of love is how you most profoundly, deeply, and wonderfully, know things--especially each other. When you love and hopefully, wonderfully, are loved, this is your truest and most absolute experience. And what fun! What wonderful deep joy you can know and share with another.

On that note, let me be open to your questions or comments. Michael and I do love to have these living moments with you, not only as the recipients of your prayers, but also actual conversations with our children. So if you have any questions or comments, please go ahead. It’s truly fun for us.

Dialogue

(Staying abreast in the midst of the hurly-burly)

Student: Thank you, Mother spirit, that was wonderful. Thank you, Jerry. I would ask, maybe for the upcoming season: things seem to be happening so fast in our emotional, energetic and frequent world of life, I wonder if you could give us a watchword to go through the holidays with all of our fluid, ever-changing relationships? Thank you.

(Reflection-the 200%--ness of life)

Mother Spirit: Yes, my dear. I think what I offered tonight would stand you in good stead. Stillness can get you a little distance on something, which enables you to see and appreciate it all the better. This can be part of your meditation. One of your great philosophers once said that “Reflection is the 200% of life.” You’re not only having each other and those wonderful experiences--especially during these holy days--they could be a kind of reflection in your stillness. Just be still occasionally to pay attention and reflect on the things that are happening. This is especially rewarding in the sometimes hurly-burly of everybody having fun being together. It’s a personally valuable appreciation, literally giving value to events by stepping back from them for a moment to reflect.

Just be still right in the midst of all the hurly-burly to anchor these moments in your soul. Know deep within yourself, my dear, that God is keeping them for you. Are not these events truly what have been so much a part of who you are now?--all these times you have shared with your loved ones? Are they not the most precious items in your soul? So, my dear, take some time to suspend the activity for a while; to be still and appreciate and love these opportunities God puts before us.

Amanson on the Pursuit of Spirit: [Mark Turnbull]

'The Pursuit of Spirit' is the pursuit of happiness, and the pursuit of happiness (though commonly unknown to the pursuer) is the pursuit of Spirit.

What all crave in this life is connection, whether to other human beings, a tradition, the fanciful trappings of an imagined deity dripping with the pursuer's personal foibles; some turn to nature, absent other humans, just a quiet connection with creation itself. There are as many different approaches to the act of connection as there are actors, but all seek to be unburdened of the arid predicament of loneliness. For connection is the underlying root of all creation, and the human creature senses it, if only by its absence, this longing in its place.

Deep within we know we fit. But where? Where to look? What is the secret? We seek here, we seek there. But 'here', 'there': those are replicas, facsimiles, emblems of connection. Connection itself resides in (and as) Spirit, invisible to the eye but oh so palpable in the interior life of the personality, Spirit's pursuer. And how does one make friends with this ineffable essence?

Well, the closest repository of Spirit (surprise!) is within your very person - your heart which will refocus your mind - so may I suggest you start there? But not with theories of Spirit - this exalted man's approach, this celebrated woman's. No. They have traveled within, found their Holy Partner and witnessed to it, and that is indeed inspirational. "Ah!", we say, "It can be done."But the seeking of one's own Divine Resident, that Spirit partner who desires nothing more than your turning inward to recognize - finally! - your Eternal co-pilot; that is done on your own by turning one's back on connections to make room for life's primary Connection.

Is its grasp instantaneous? The heart says yes, the mind, no. It takes quiet to become aware of the famous "still, small voice", and do you know (of course you do) at what a premium quiet is in your world today? None the less that is the requirement. And yet finding a physical space of actual quiet will seem simple compared to the more overwhelming task of quieting your mind! All the traffic, all the media, the attendant riot accompanying you throughout your day lodge and echo in the mind's ear, making it difficult to raise even a sliver of breathing space (silence) when you desire it most.

But take Heart! Spirit is reaching down as you are reaching up, for Spirit is truly your home, your natural habitat. You have gotten used to the teeming squabble confronting you daily and are convinced this is life, this is natural. It is not. It is but the theatrics of brothers and sisters seeking connection through whatever they can see, hear, touch. But the pursuers of Spirit sense those things are merely stand-ins for the Reality within them, a hidden dimension animating materialism's vast homage to the incomplete, and beckoning home all those who aspire to Completion, the far-seeing pursuers of Spirit. "Seek and ye shall find".

Aurelia: [Delores] Dear ones, we always seek to bring you joy. This is Aurelia, and though you may not know me, I do know all of you and have been pleased to watch the reclamation of our dear planet begin its true unfoldment. It is an honor to be in the trenches or boots on the ground as some of them refer to us down here on this level. I heard Mother Spirit refer to you as our white-haired family and yesterday gave encouragement to be who you are, to come together, meet each other here, love each there for the time that you have left on this world and know that we so appreciate all of your hearts turning upwards.

When you come to know the story of this you will be delighted because you are indeed a family and many of you share many, many paths that were crossed the same way in your growing up to reach this fine old grey-haired age. We are working with other groups, of course, on your world but it is nice to have the depth of wisdom, oneness, and experience that you offer us. Thank you for letting us study you these last decades after we were first allowed in with the opening of the circuits. There was a great allure to be one who could come here and work with the humans. We see many of these passing brothers and sisters from other worlds and are very proud when we get to show off, not our human pets, it’s not like you do tricks for us for sure, but there is a great fondness, affection, and exchange of loving communication between all of us.

You may not be even consciously aware of all the connections that we make with our circuitry in your night hours. If you pay attention there, you will be able to tune in to the frequencies that are the same as we have here when we communicate and you will be able to see, in your own way, some of what is evolving. It is a great joy and I just wanted to step in and again say, celebrate! Celebrate with each other for the light has come and there is much turning about going on right now. Keep your peace, keep your light anchor, keep your center for in this way you allow the opening of much energy, much needed love and energy to come to work in your world for our balancing needs.

It is always helpful to have the prayers and intention, the sincerity, and the love with the human will to bring the Kingdom of The Father to life on the planet which is what we are doing. On earth as it is in heaven means many things for it is Light and Life in heaven and Light and Life is where you are headed. So keep tuning yourselves into that and help us finish creating this beautiful World of the Cross for all to see. Thank you dear ones, I will speak to you later.

Thomas: [Alan] Yes, hello my friends, this is Thomas and as always it is a joy to be here with you. This has been an eventful time together hearing from Mother Spirit, from Amanson, from Aurelia and we each bring a different perspective because we each have our own histories, our own chores as we work with you. We have an overall plan that is Michael and Mom’s plan to bring Light and Life to this planet and there are many of us here that are each working in different manners to bring this about and it is such a joy to see the effort that friends like yourselves put out to achieve spirit connection, to achieve love and to help spread it on this planet.

There is so much energy that has been coming here recently. Channels have opened and more people, more of you humans, will be able to connect and that is a gift to us and then it is a gift to you and we watch you change, watch you open yourselves, watch you connect to the love from The Father. It’s a glorious, wonderful experience. We thank you so much for your dedication. It truly is amazing to be part of this event where we know how difficult your planet has been since the rebellion, since the default of Adam and Eve and many negative influences that are disappearing. Not that they will just go away but as more positive influences come and as more of you mortals open your hearts and minds to spirit connection, the negative influences will dwindle, will fade and the positive energy, the positive connections will pervade, will take over.

It is exciting, it’s just a great opportunity for those of us who are here to help to have this be so much more connected, so much more achievable and to see you, the many small groups such as yourselves, who are spread across this planet, who are connecting, who are opening their hearts and receiving the love, connecting the truth, beauty, and goodness for the planet. It will take time, none of this happens overnight but it is like a wave that sweeps through and brings everyone higher up. It’s just glorious to be a part of this. It truly is a great experience to share this growth, to share this energy of love and to see the impact it has on humans.

We thank you so much, we thank you for your efforts, for the joy that you bring us and that you bring yourselves for as you each know, as you connect to spirit and you allow love in, your lives are lifted up; they become more connected, more hopeful, more positive and that is the path to Light and Life. As that energy spreads and more people connect and more people realize what they can have, then that becomes, at some point, a wave that truly sweeps across the world and truly brings an awareness of interconnection and spirit connection and universe connection and all humans will, at some point, have the opportunity to tune in and find peace and love in their hearts if they choose to do so. So thank you, thank you for your amazing work. Thank you for this opportunity to talk with you. We love you and keep up the good work. Take care, good night.

Machiventa: [Mark Rogers] Indeed, I accept the position you offer and the place you set for me at the table, so to speak. I am Machiventa and would love to provide you some perspective on the magnitude of a meeting that has just transpired on Urantia wherein agondonters, the mortals of the realm, have pursued an inward journey and been able to identify that component of themselves that is spirit and this has fostered creative access to that aspect of their being and decided to transform into more spiritualized beings by their very choice to do so. In a distant universe under quarantine and in darkness, these agondonters have found spirit and have found their Divine Parents and their spirit family. And even now you host a meeting, a meeting of spirit entities on both sides of the material plane, some still housed in the mortal flesh vehicles of time and space while others are not bound by any restrictions of time or space or the limitations of material demands.

This meeting is being conducted and held with the active input and contribution of the energy of fellow agondonter believers that makes it possible. What a grand testament of faith, your faith. All of the spirit participants on our side are not short of faith, but in the material realm, faith is a sacred commodity, a sacred trait that can bridge the gap. So, from a universe perspective, such a meeting draws a crowd and they're interested in seeing how it is that mortals from a far-off distant quarantined sphere would come together and extend in faith and believe and seek and find their spirit connection. It is no small thing and there are many observers to witness your faith in action and it stands as a tribute to the power of faith to draw you to your Creator. Certainly it is a manifestation of glory, of goodness, of beauty, and of truth in a divine representation of your individualism and your collective faith to make this so.

I leave you with the profound appreciation from all of us on our side who are dependent upon you to open this connection, make this connection, be this connection as is your desire to be these instruments of peace. I will say that when these instruments come together at such a meeting, the tones are divine, are pure, and are representative of the grace of divine love. Well done. I look forward to future opportunities to observe such miracles in progress.
