Dear Friends,

Since the end of February, several fine lessons have come in that have now been tagged for that month as well as the recent Lightline lesson for March, and if you have time to review these, any comments you might be able to offer will be appreciated. Also, again, if you have time, I recently completed tagging Paper 15 - The Universe of Universes which would benefit from any reviews you might offer.

Gratefully,

Rob

Rob .... first, I am loath to see these lessons from Woods Cross associated with the "four horsemen"... "health crisis" and the other monjoronson lessons. I dont know what to suggest but I just don't like this association.

secondly ... I would take out the word "sacrifice" .... and if you must, title ... use "wholehearted devotion."

We don't even title our Woods Cross lessons anymore ... I think because there is so much one might miss in a lesson if they are looking at the posted topics to determine interest. What one might see as the intent of the lesson (as in this case you see "sacrifice") another might see so differently. The only thing in this lesson alluding to 'sacrifice' was in saying Jesus did not teach such.

Hello Calvin-

Thank you for sharing your thoughts as it helps in gaining understanding of each Teaching Mission group's unique culture. Of course, the association is a function of alphabetical listing. Nevertheless, given your concerns, it seems advisable not to list lessons together on tml.

As for the word sacrifice, this is Abraham's choice while making what seems a very consistent point differentiating between traditional notions of service by contrasting "Sacrifice" with "Devotion" freely given in love. I am sure the reason he used this term first in the opening of his lesson was to underscore the thought of the former as succeeded by the latter in the course of evolution.

Otherwise, the title is listed as received, Abraham-2010-02-22 with the topics tagged as Sacrifice and Devotion¹ in the order Abraham presented them. However, given the single listing of "Sacrifice" without "Devotion" in the heading, your concerns are justified. I have then added Devotion in the heading to correct this imbalance.

As ever, the comments made here germane to a given lesson are recorded in its discussion page for future reference.

Thank you again for sharing your thoughts! I trust you will offer additional suggestions as needed.

Gratefully,
