Given the widespread doubt about Ron's stability, I am placing the disinformation warning on all his transmissions given no one is discussing them outside the small circle of his devotees.--rdavis 02:26, 23 August 2014 (UTC)

Bigoted Nonsense

Dear Friends,

Recently, Ron Besser has cultivated a few new TR's who seem to be alone and solely dependent upon him for their instruction, and of course Ron continues his own transmitting. The quality of these recent additions leaves much to be desired. In the case of Ron's recent piece attributed to Paul of Tarsus, he

1. Repeatedly uses references to Zoroastrianism as Zorasterism (I corrected), and Zorasterists (I corrected) and defines this religion as "a "belief in God incarnate without a God in heaven" and "in that day was into sacrifices to the world of spirit that found its place in Greece" Really?! [1]

What kind of bigoted nonsense is this? I have rarely seen such inept thinking. It doesn't end there because

2. He has Paul referring to Tarsus as a "little town that sits on the Mediterranean, some fifty five miles from the capital of the Roman Empire, Rome itself." [2]

There are other problems with this piece, but I grow weary of editing thoughts that read as very bad 2nd grade sunday school lessons at best while enduring a sense of offense against the intelligence that inspired the Teaching Mission.

Your thoughts?

Gratefully,

Rob

1.a. Zoroaster was himself directly in contact with the descendants of the earlier Melchizedek missionaries, and their doctrine of the one God became a central teaching in the religion which he founded in Persia. Aside from Judaism, no religion of that day contained more of these Salem teachings. (131:5)

1.b. The doctrine of the Abrahamic covenant was virtually extinct in Persia when, in that great century of moral renaissance, the sixth before Christ, Zoroaster appeared to revive the smouldering embers of the Salem gospel. (95:6)

1.c. The cult of Mithras arose in Iran and long persisted in its homeland despite the militant opposition of the followers of Zoroaster. But by the time Mithraism reached Rome, it had become greatly improved by the absorption of many of Zoroaster's teachings. (98:5]

2. From Tarsus to Rome is a 5hr40min plane trip and around 34 hour car trip

Maybe he was referring to another different cult...the ZorroAsteRisks*?

Even if the Teaching Mission Dialogues were a comic strip, the piece would still be unacceptable.

Just a word about Ron Besser: It occurred to me that he could be working for or is being used by the Luciferian rebels.

Sadly, "channeled" material is often believed without fact checking due diligence, just like political campaign propaganda ads are accepted by lazy 'true believers' in "my side"...whichever it happens to be.

Rob wrote: Sat, Aug 23, 2014 at 12:57 PM

It isn't just 'channelled' material; anything wrapped in a cloak of authority offers an excuse for lazy minds to avoid "adjusting to the progressive struggles of living" (1) in the face of the unknown.

How many long for truth, justice, and the Universal way? Not to mention holding near and dear the sincere hopeful intention to become God-like and perfect in our realm of 'reality' as our Father is in His... The only Authority worthy of real respect is the Author of creation...Humans have a saying that "power corrupts and absolute power absolutely corrupts"...or something like that...and while there might be some accuracy to that observation in 'this world'...the Truth is that Absolute Power is absolutely Incorruptible...anything less might be subject to lesser influences.

There are many other divine beings who share the Father's integrity, but just not to the same infinite extent.

There are only two beings who share the Father's integrity to "the same infinite extent". Nevertheless all beings are subject to the rule of law, even the Father who himself cannot do the ungodlike.

Dear Rob, My thoughts about your post are qualified as follows in all due respect to your contributions to the Teaching Mission: First - I do not have the history of involvement or contribution in the TM that you have. Secondly - I do not have the history of relationships with the range of personalities involved in the TM that you have. Thirdly - what I do have in common with you is a profound commitment to the TM and making my will that of the Father's.

I find your public critique of "Ron Besser's recent work" to be an attempt to trivialize and dismiss his work. I am one of the new TR's who is learning under his guidance among others. Rather than feeling dependent on him and thereby being enabled to avoid adjusting to the progressive struggles of living, my experience is quite the opposite. While working under his guidance, I have confronted my lingering tendencies to avoid some of such struggles. I do observe that there are some individuals who might fit your portrayal of dependency/avoidance who are involved in T/R'ing and other spiritual endeavors, but I daresay that such individuals are evident everywhere and I propose that it is not anyone's place to make an evaluative or classification judgment of them.

I try to discern the spiritual, (or at least the messages that can be spiritized) meaning/value of any transmission on Ron's or any other site. I notice and do not distract myself with the exactness of any time/space coordinates that come through transmissions. That disposition may seem like a form of denial. However I always search for the spiritual message. For example, in your selection from Ron's transmissions there was also a beautiful "prayer" for communing with one's thought adjuster. That's what I remember from the Paul message. I do not simply seek to challenge you. I share with you the fullest discernment of Truth, Beauty, and Goodness.

Respectfully submitted,

Steven Murphy

Hello Steven-

Thank you for sharing your thoughts, and I am glad to hear you have found encouragement from Ron while exploring the indigenous gift of spiritual circuitry even as you observe individuals falling prey to a syndrome prevalent in this world as persons struggle to overcome an injured sense of worthiness.

My critique of "Ron Besser's recent work" here on tml was directed to the referenced transcript, and tml is a privately owned and managed venue for discussing such transcripts. Nevertheless, there exists an extensive public critique of Ron Besser's abuse of other persons' work and money to promote his personal interpretation of the Teaching Mission and Magisterial Mission that has served as an object lesson in how evil always results when personal evaluations are elevated to the level of absolutes. (1)

You do well as a true child of the universe looking for living truth in every wise saying (2), but It would help you much if you would learn that true wisdom embraces discretion as well (3) and is never indifferent to the facts of life even as it is inspired by the living truth that ennobles such life.

Gratefully,

Rob
