Every Relationship is a picture of your relationship with God; a living illustration of either your confusion or your Connection. So your interaction with the world bespeaks what you are and 'who you know', as the saying goes.

Relationships are the matrix, your core that tells you how you're doing in this life, in this world. There are relationships you choose and others you have 'thrust upon you' but they all have divine significance and they all let you know who you are and how you're doing.

Relationships you cultivate grow apace: they blossom as you water and feed them; prune them when need be and care for them, tending them, watching them grow. A relationship becomes an entity unto itself: what began as two tributaries into a potential river is now become that river, a body of Being with no exact equivilant in the universe. Oh, there are other - myriads of - relationships, but no two exactly the same. How could they be? No two people are the same, hence no two relationships either. And the force, the combined power of this relationship will not be encountered anywhere else. It is unique, as are you, as is every person. So Relationship - two or more individuals combining - is yet another creation within Creation.

The power of Relationship is the Love made manifest as it runs its ever-expanding course. Wider and deeper grows the path it creates, for it is its own path, its own village, its own destination. No one can really tell beforehand where such a combined journey will take its participants and that is the beauty of so potent a prospect as relationship - be it friendship, a love match, a business enterprise, a working relationship. This world is one of give-and-take, each being a mirror of the other. What seems 'taking' is an opportunity for the other to be 'giving', an opportunity which is then offered to the other in turn. In the end these two energies switch and we see that our giving is the joy we're taking. That is when relationship has served its purpose, proved its mettle, having left two or more participants greater than when they began the adventure of Relationship.

Relationship is a mirror in which we see ourselves; a way to measure our commitment to the path we have embarked upon, declared ourselves capable of. Relationship tests our willingness to find Truth and make it our own (Truth being that which puts our sister or brother in equal contact - equal relationship - with the Spirit within). Relationship is that Spirit in energetic embrace, singing a song of triumph for the love it has, layer by layer, uncovered and brought to bear within and upon the world. [[Category: Mark Turnbull]
