Yes, this is Teacher Ham telling Elena (in Rio Rancho) to prepare for the arrival and tutelage of Teacher Tomas. ("Thomas, no H") Prior to Tomas coming to Central New Mexico, Esmirelda and her daughter Elena were connected to Ham (through Esmirelda's brother Jarad) in Nashville, and Abraham (through Esmirelda's other daughter Miriam) in Woods Cross. Tomas had some big shoes to fill.
