This particular session prompted a "moratorium" on the TMArchives site posting these sessions due to concerns expressed below.--rdavis 23:36, 8 November 2010 (UTC)

From: Ron_Besser To: Daniel Raphael Cc: Roxanne Andrews ; Vicki Vanderheyden Sent: Monday, October 18, 2010 11:03 AM Subject: Special Session Archive Moratorium

October 18, 2010 Hi Daniel (with CC to Roxanne and Vicki)

This is with regard to the Special Sessions.

As early as last March/April 2010 I was concerned about some undefined problems with the special session transcriptions. Because I am unable to specify what is precisely wrong with them in my view, I have let them ride and have archived all of the production associated with these sessions up to this point.

Back in April I had appealed to all of you dealing in the production of these sessions to stand back and take a break from doing them. It is obvious you could not agree with my concerns our my suggestion, so they have continued. In light of my continued discomfort about what they offer, I will not be archiving any more of them starting today.

There is now a moratorium on archiving the special sessions until further notice. Until there is some effort to get to the bottom of what problems have entered into the stream of information being produced within these sessions, I feel I have no choice but to stand back and no longer participate in a dissemination I consider problematical.

The very same problem(s) were at issue with the Q&A sessions stopped in May on Monjoronson.com. I asked all involved at the time their opinion about their output and most agreed that the work had become skewed, distorted, and sometimes patently wrong in what was said. I emphasize I do not know the source or why this has happened, but it has.

None of you are personally being blamed, but until we do find out what is going on, I am placing a stop on working with the special session transcripts. Some effort should be undertaken by all of you to get to the bottom of this. Once I feel assured we are putting good material up for distribution I will gladly archive them again.

With concern, Ron B.
