I don't know how to get the pump primed so to speak. I don't know where to start and I don't really know how to listen to you yet as I want to. Only know that I do truly wish to do the Father's will no matter how many times I may seem to fail.
Lesson
Teaching Mission, Assurance
We know you are trying to do what you think is best but we have different ideas for all of you than you may have for yourselves. This mission is not exactly what you may expect it to be. It is not simply a reason . .. (problems here while I can't keep from letting my mind interfere. ) It is not what you expect because what we are trying to do will be accomplished with methods you will not be able to fully understand. That is why you will be required to do so much on faith without knowing the whole plan or understanding all of its details. Even we do not understand all of its details but we have supreme faith in the Father and in our Brother Michael whose plan and design this mission is in concert with the Melchizedek schools.
You are very lucky to be part of this great undertaking as are we. We are ever mindful of the opportunity it is for us all, for yourselves and for us, to be working together in a new and unusual partnership between ascenders beyond the material planetary stage and ascenders yet in the material life. Think of what we are doing! We are engaged in a sublime adventure of doing teamwork, being partners in accomplishing the Father's will. This planet is troubled and very damaged. We have faith though that with your help, and believe me, your help is very important to this enterprise, we will prevail. If your assistance in these matters were not important we would not be engaging in this particular type of mission. As you say, unusual situations/problems for call for unusual measures.
Humor
We are not here to toy with you or have fun trying new forms of communication, although there is a great deal of fun to be had as we share this enterprise. Always remember that a sense of humor about this is very important. We like to see you laugh and to see you balance the seriousness of our tasks with a lightheartedness. Lord Michael said on your planet when he lived the life in the flesh, be of good cheer. This attitude will take you a long way in your life struggles on Urantia. Brother Michael also said fear not. I know that you have been thinking today, as you talked about with Alan, that fear is the major stumbling block. Your difficulty in having faith, in believing in this mission, even in believing that we are dictating these words to you rather than its being from your own mind... all of this is a product of fear. One of the difficulties on Urantia is that you have been deprived of an inheritance that would have made you so much less vulnerable to animal fear. This is one part of the legacy of the rebellion that we are here to try to alleviate.
In the meanwhile, whenever you make the decision to overcome fear with faith,you are adding your strength to this entire mission. How delighted we are every time you succeed. But do not feel badly when you fail for such is the nature of humans. It is not your failures by which you are measured but your success in attitude. Your desire to overcome your fears with faith is what leads you to do just that. You are very special, you humans on this blue planet, and we all love you very much. We have great admiration for your forbearance in the midst of isolation. We will do everything that we can to fulfill our part of the mission. We feel certain of our ultimate success, for as other teachers have said over and over all thing work for the good for him who does the will of the Father.
Transmitting
We would like you to try using a tape recorder tomorrow if you have the time because you need to get used to delivering the messages in spoken form. Someone from your group must learn to do this as soon as possible and it will probably be you though we are trying to bring another as well so that you can share the burden and it will not be so tiring for either of you and will also help keep certain dissensions from occurring that would be disruptive to our purpose. You are again tired and this is enough for now. Do not seek to edit this tonight. You need your rest for your get together tomorrow which will be a very special event for you and also because you will see this with a new and more believing eye in the morning.
